“Local Irish pub.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2012 via mobile

Dark atmosphere and crowd comes here but usually late at night. Typical Irish bar food if you like greasy. Good beers on tap. Fun to come and watch soccer from time to time and have a beer.

“meh”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2012

Been to this place three times. I have to say this is the worst excuse for an Irish Pub I have ever been to. For starters on St. Patrick's Day they did not have any Irish music. Besides Guinness and a local Roanoke brew all of their beers are tailor made corporate breweries. The staff is out of control. The bartender, Tyler?, was giving away freebies to people he knew and barely waited on those he didn't. The bouncer was mouthy when this was brought up to him. The owner is nonexistent, and probably not aware of the staff running amuck. I think the manager or possibly co-owner was hammered drunk by the time he made it to the bar at 1 AM....
The place was not that clean and bathrooms were barely sanitary at best. The food was OKAY. Cheese curds are decent, chicken wings are not even close, sandwiches overrated. Much better off going to Corn Beef or Metro! Sadly only decent Irish Pub in Roanoke is Annie Moore's which is not close to downtown.

“Nothin' Fancy Irish Pub”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2011

Expect your stereotypical Irish pub -- dark interior, most patrons at the bar, standard selection of Irish-esque eats, good beers on tap. Not fancy, but comfortable.
