“could have been much better”

we stayed here with our two young children. the floor was filthy, the towels were musty. there was no heat in the bathrooms - and it was very cold. the heat in our room didn't work very well - we had it on 90 just to stay slightly warm. the room was large - i did like that. there was a sleeper sofa, and even with it pulled out there was room to move around. there were two bathrooms and two seperate sinks, which was nice. there seemed to be air coming in around the door - all the rooms have an outside door (which i didn't like, nor did i know about).

We at the Quality Inn take guest satisfaction very seriously. The Choice 100% satisfaction guarantee says, "If there is something wrong with your stay and we are unable to rectify the problem to your satisfaction, then you will not pay for that portion of your stay." Although we are unable to make every guest happy, we certainly strive to live up to our reputation as a clean, guest service oriented hotel. We were recently given a 93% score in cleanliness on our latest Quality Assurance inspection from Choice Hotels and take pride in delivering our guests a clean comfortable room. We also listen to our guests, which is why we offer a free deluxe hot breakfast buffet in the morning and are currently upgrading our fitness room with a new decor and brand new equipment. Please be assured that the management of the Quality Inn Roanoke cares about our guests. Happy Holidays to all!!!

We checked into the hotel late at night. They must save the worse rooms for late check in. We opened the door to find a bad order, and when we turned on the lights the carpet was filthy. The bed was horrible, and the microwave was sitting on the floor. I called the office for another room. While we were waiting for room keys, a hotel employee walked by taking towels to a nearby room. I asked him to look at our room. He immediately called the office and told them the condition. He walked into the second room with us, but it wasn't much better. They offered us a third room, but we refused to stay there. I've had good luck with Quality Inns in the past, and we traveled to the Tanglewood Quality Inn and found a nice, clean room.

We stand behind the Choice Hotels 100% satisfaction guarantee which states, "If there is something wrong during your stay and we are unable to rectify this in a timely manner, then you will not pay for that portion of your stay." We do know that unfortunately we cannot make every guest happy, but it is our job to make sure you go home, or where ever your travel leads you, with a smile on your face. We take pride in the cleanliness of our hotel, which shows in our most recent Quality Assurance inspection from Choice Hotels. We also take pride in listening to what our guests are saying, which is why we add a free hot breakfast buffet and are currently remodeling our fitness center with a new decor and up-to-date fitness equipment. We appreciate our guests feedback and look forward to serving you in the future. Happy Holiday!!

Stayed overnight recently at the Quality Inn Ronaoke Airport, nice hotel for the price. Clean rooms & baths. Had an appetizer and drink at the bar the evening I checked in, and enjoyed the free breakfast at check out, was surprised for the price of the room the layout of the free breakfast. Very nice for the money, an excellent value.

Overall not bad at all. We booked it ahead having read some other terrible reviews of the area. Probably could use an update, but most motels could. Otherwise it was clean, and I am quite picky-- went so far as to inspect the bathroom for cleanliness. The beds were comfortable and there is a free shuttle/taxi service to the airport. For a cheap overnight, I would definately stay again.

Having booked a one night stay based on reviewers ratings, I wonder who they were. Allergy sufferers stay away: the room airconditioning/heating unit in our room was clogged with dust, and was growing impressive colony of mold and mildew. Bathroom and surfaces in general were grimy. Having asked for alternative to what the desk clerk said was a down comforter, received two discolored blankets with holes--however, the comforter was not down. The breakfast room was grimy too: air-return blanketed with dust; old ceiling stained by leaks and mildew, upholstery stained and tattered. I was offered another room, but due to lateness of hour and doubt that others were better maintained, did not pursue further.

We recently rennovated our bathrooms and as of June started serving a hot breakfast filled with eggs, bacon, sausage, fruits, waffles, etc..We listen to our guests by providing the best amenties we can. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your stay, please let us know and we will attempt to correct the problem. We have a management team with many years experience in hospitality and know what it takes to deliver top knotch service. If after contacting management and your still not satisfied, we will refund that portion of your stay based on the Choice Hotels 100% satisfaction guarantee...We thank you for staying with us and hope to see you in the future...

went to this hotel for a softball tournament and we were nervous of what we would find given the great price we got. it was very nice - the beds are comfy and they had our whole team together one floor poolside. the pool was clean and table out there to sit at. breakfast was included with our price and again not sure what to expect - it was a great breakfast very pleased with that. one bad thing was there were many different teams staying there and only one ice machine for the whole place - but the staff allowed us to bring our coolers into the kitchen area and fill them with ice. that was def going above and beyond! would def return as the price is right and the accomadations were way above what we expected.

The hotel was average. The outside and lobby appearance was great the room appearance was another thing.The rooms could use some updating, with a good carpet cleaning.The bathroom still had someone elses hair in it. But it is just me being a critic. I would stay again.
