First, the motel is ran down and out dated. Second the staff is incredably rude and very unperfessional. when you call the front desk with an question. they will rush you and even hung up on me. Third, The whole place smelled of pot smoke. We were treated like we didn't have a choice in staying there. I even called the owner of the property and left several messages, and to this day have not gotten a return call. This shows me where his employees get their bad manners. This is a warning to anyone visiting Roanoke, VA. Do yourself a favor and do not stay at the Days Inn, or any of the Wyndham Properties there. they are owned by the same scum and are in the same crummy state.

As much as they charge to stay here they are too cheep to buy extra pillows. One of the blankets on the bed doesnt even fit the bed. The door knob came off the bathroom door and my son was locked in. The filters in the ac/heat unit was nasty like they never clean it. We payed extra so we can enjoy a hot tub and the jets barley work. I feel as much as we paid to stay here we wasted our money. We will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. Ive seen cheep motales nicer then this. Even they would give you an extra pillow. My husband slept with a pillow case stuffed with coats. We got a King suite with two tvs but only one remote. They gave us another but that one didnt work. 2 lamps didnt even have light bulbs. Sorry to complain but for $75 this was really bad.

I was most pleasantly surprised. I stayed for one night en route south, not expecting anything but a basic, economical room conveniently located. I booked based on the price and the points I get for Wyndam Rewards. I got a fabulous room for $40. Most importantly it was clean and nicely and comfortably appointed with a desk, fast internet, fridge and microwave. I was only there for an overnight but if I had to stay more nights in Roanoke I would not have hesitated to stay right here andwill stay again if and when I return to the area.
