This has to be the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The reception area seemed nice and the Front Desk staff was friendly, but that's where any "good" that this hotel has ended.
We drove around back to where our room was - it was dark, and the parking lot seemed very sketchy. We also had our first view of the hotel - scary, dark, and menacing. The elevator was dingy and the luggage carts seemed to be on ther last leg.
As for our room, at first glance it seemed nice, and the bathroom was actually clean. But on further inspection, we found misc. stains on the sofa and carpet. When I unfolded the sofa to make it into my bed (was traveling with parents) was disgusted to see a GIANT bug in the sheets. We called the Front Desk, and they brought a rollaway - with no top sheet! So we called the Front Desk again and they sent up a top sheet. I then folded the bed down - there was no way I was going to be able to sleep on it, so I put the mattress on the floor. I felt creepy and crawly all night.
The next morning, my parents enjoyed the breakfast, but I was so grossed out by my sleeping arrangement that I couldn't eat anything. The gravy (for the biscuits) was stone cold - I heated it in the microwave but couldn't eat it.
Your money will be better spent at another hotel - do yourself a favor and spend the extra $30.00 for a good place...
Also, the hotel advertised "10 restaurants within 2 blocks" in the coupon booklet we had - there was no dining within 2 blocks - this part of town seemed all but deserted!!
Room Tip: Spend an extra $30 (or even $10) for a better place.
