“Good but not great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

I enjoyed my dining experience here, but I do prefer Panera. My husband and I both got the vegetable soup which was a little lukewarm and a little salty. My tomato and provolone sandwich was not warm enough. I guess it sat for a little while before being brought out. My husband actually asked them to make him a grilled cheese on the multigrain bread, and it was quite tasty. This is a casual diner where you order on a cafeteria line, and they bring the food out to your table. I think the French theme was a little overdone in comparison to the quality of the food. I think Mimi's does the French cafe experience much more successfully. This location was very busy, so the locals must like it.

“Always Excellent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

The fireplace in Winter, the great salads, the sinful tomato basil soup, the sometimes overcooked omelets, and the excellent coffee makes for a pleasant experience.

“Kind of disappointed.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2012 via mobile

Luke warm soup, rubbery roast beef sandwich and confused counter staff. Maybe an off night but not what we've come to expect from this chain.

“Fast French Food (that doesn't arrive very fast)”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

From the outside you would never guess the interior of this place could look so nice. Strip mall outside, cozy French Provencial looking bakery inside with nooks and crannys of tables and mixed-matched caned chairs. Wine bottles on the walls and a working fireplace. Went on a Saturday and the place was humming. The initial rush of good feeling was tempered by an extraordinary long wait time on food once ordered (think Panera style restaraunt but mutilply the time wait 3X). Two of us did the French Dip which was alright but it was as if the plates had been bumped and the sandwiches were a bit soggy (one order came out missing something). Recommend the cold pasta salad over the potato chips but the dressing was heavy and ran into the spilled "dip" on the plates. Six of us had lunch. One loved her food and the rest thought it was "ok." Would be willing to try again at breakfast (2 of us had been there before for breakfast a month earlier and it was based on that good memory that we tried lunch). The bakery items looked terrific.

“Where's my food??”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012

Upon entry at the door, you are handed a menu to peruse as you queue up to the counter. Your order is hastily taken by someone standing around the queue and you better make sure that you get a number, or else it will never be processed, as I learned. Food is fairly good, but staff are noisy and there seems to be no visible management.
