“Sports Bar”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Service could be better, so if you're in a rush, go elsewhere. Ample amounts of seating. Yummy Strawberry Lemonade. Flatbread pizza was tasty and different with balsamic dressing topping. Sports bar scene for game nights, plenty of tvs and large bar. Fairly sized menu - plenty of options even for dessert.

“Not exceptional, but certainly not bad.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

I liked how large the restaurant was, providing ample seating. The menu was extensive. The food was tasty, but nothing exceptional.

“Great Sports Bar, Average Food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

I have been to Champps many times and have had a few really good meals, but mostly it's fairly average food. It's a noisy, well equipped sports bar that has enough screens to show most everything being televised at any point in time. Service is a bit uneven as is the food, but overally an OK place to go if it's convenient for everyone in your group. Don't plan to have much conversation however - the TV volume is way too loud to hear over unless you have your ear right next to the mouth of the person who's speaking.

“What once was Awesome, is now Blah...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

This place was a very popular, up beat, clean nice place at one point in time. What time and the economy does to a place... The last two times I've visited this place it was DEAD on days with lots of sports happening. As if people would rather eat at home (or another bar) then to watch sports here. I dont really blame them.

Food::
The Food is somewhere between below average and average. The southwest egg roll appetizer is enormous (think burrito size), however the outsides were soft and chewy, also like a burrito, as if they came from the microwave as opposed to a fryer. (perhaps they were cooked first in the fryer, left to sit, and then microwaved for us?).

Cleanliness::
The place is VERY dirty. Not just does the entire downstairs look old and dingy, the upstairs railing near the stairs looks like it hasn't been dusted in YEARS. The bar is grungy, and although it may be cleaned often, it appears as if it isn't clean most the places we sat down during our day there.

Service::
Service is OK. Not their low point, but certainly not great. Nobody greeting anyone at the door or top of the steps..

Prices::
Beer prices seem a bit high for an old dirty bar with no customers. perhaps they should do a special here and there to get people in.

“A little below average”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

The food is average, not bad but not great, the service is not good. I use to go up to watch football but the past couple times it has been empty, and still the service isn't very good. And with no gameday specials to get food and a couple beers it adds up quick. I will find a new place to go watch my team play.
