I've eaten at, and reviewed, a couple of the other restaurants in the Clyde's Group (the Georgetown location and Old Ebbitt Grill), and frankly have just never been much impressed. Not that they are bad, in fact they're okay, but nothing special in my opinion, aside from their desirable locations in G'town and near the White House, respectively. The folks at Clyde's in Reston must believe that since they are out in the suburbs, they need to work a little harder, because I believe that they do a better job than their city kin. Everything from the food quality, service and ambiance to the value is just a cut above the other Clyde's locations, in my experience. That said, none of the Clyde's locations are fine dining. They serve solid, no-frills food, in a casual, family-friendly environment.
I also like the fact that, in the Reston location, you can park free in a Reston Town Center public parking garage, and be within an easy walk of Clyde's and a lot of other dining and shopping options.
