This is a favoriate of my kids. They love the slides and the lazy river.
The Water mine is clean and a nice neighborhood water park, especially for very young children. However, it is very crowded on weekends and Holidays. There is a long wait outside of the facility because it fills to capacity, which is difficult for the young children who enjoy it the most.
We also experienced the shut downs mentioned by other users. That tries your patience after waiting for a long time to get in. The Water mine is used by summer camps for excursions and that seems to work better since they go during the week.
Very appealing to young kids during the summer.
Because of its popularity, it tends to get overcrowded. If you go late in the morning, you may have to wait for a long time outside before you can be allowed to enter.
i use to go there as a kid, but now its a complete rip off. Its very expensive for a full day. There are way too many kids that take a "dump" in the pool everyday from this, They always close the pool, and when they do, its for at least 2 hours. They have older teenage lifeguards that don't notice much that goes on. There are never enough shaded or just plain seats, you have to sit on the dirty grass and get sunburned to death. There are always swarmed bugs that follow you everywhere you go, and the little pizza shop they have there ALWAYS runs out of supplies, like smoothies and even just plain pizza.
Pros: Great lazy river and decent slides.
Cons: Can get crowded on week-ends.
