“Nice Birthday Dinner!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2011

I took my husband here for a surprise birthday dinner and the staff was very amenable when we were a bit tardy. Although pricey, the wine selection was very nice, and the flights are just right for someone a bit indecisive. We started with the hummus, which was lemony and delightful. I chose several yummy tapas dishes for my meal (the mushroom soup is delicious!), while my husband had the 1855 steak, which was perfectly cooked and wonderfully flavorful. We would return if we lived closer!

“Good Brunch...but, could be better”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2011

Though the Sunday brunch selection was not extensive, it was reasonably priced and offered a nice variety of dishes. Two appetizer portions (mussels and scallops) were large enough for one meal. The lobster appetizer was not as expected though the sauce was great. Take a pass on the ham and cheese pannini as the cheese was nothing special. Also, the breakfast potatoes were not cooked enough. The huevos rancheros were very good

“Great food, great service and lovely atmosphere.”

Went to Reston for a wedding. We had a couple of meals here with the wedding party and family and it was amazing. The food was incredible and we always got great service. Would definitely go back.

“Wine Bar with a Restaurant or a Restaurant with a Wine Bar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2011

This was the first time I went to this restaurant. It was with a group of 14 that grew to 19. We had 2 servers assigned to our group and they were excellent. The wine list was excellent as was the food. I'd highly recommend the lamb chops. The menu is very innovative. With a group this size it would have been better to have been in the private dining room but since it was taken we were in the main dining area which is small with a table for 10 and one for 6. On the other hand if we had been in the private dining room the others that would up joining us wouldn't have known we were there. If staying at the Westin that the hotel is part of or at the Sheraton across the parking lot I'd recommend this restaurant.
