This is a great hot spot in Reston, but unless you thrive on noise and a crowded restaurant/bar scene, be sure to eat outside on the patio where it's quieter since this is a large place.
Our waiter was solicitous and excellent with advice--which really made the experience a special occasion for 3 of us. He spent a lot of time explaining things and brought several wines to taste before we settled on individual glasses instead of a bottle. They have a good selection and glasses range from about $7-20, but the bottles start at $34. For appetizers, we had: oysters, grilled scallops (Coquilles Saint Jacques with a French onion "twist"), and Escargots in butter/garlic. The scallops were the best. For entrees, the menu emphasizes the French-style bistro steak frites with various sauces. They're good, but if you like your steak rare, then this isn't for you. The rib eye only comes in 22 oz so 2 of us split it, which was great since it cost $39. But I still vote for Ruth's Chris Steak House for the best rib eye around. The hazelnut souffle was to die for--large, rich and creamy.
