“Do not miss this”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

The trail in and out to get to the waterfall is 2 miles each way, so you'll have to allow adequate time. The trail is constructed in such a way so there is a turn around point at 1 mile in if you're short on time. Breathtaking scenery throughout, just no waterfall on the shorter trail. You can choose from the upper trail which is wider and flatter, or the lower trail that goes right along the stream's edge and is full of rock stairs and ups and downs. Also you can do both by switching at the half way point which is what we did. Parking lot is 4 miles of 460. $3 to park. Real toilet facility!

“Great 4 mile hike”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

A nice simple 4 mile hike - two miles to the falls and two miles back. The cost is $3 a car on the honor system. Our National Parks Pass would have worked but we didn't bring it.

“Hike to Cascade”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

It's a nice two-mile hike to Cascade falls. The low path by the creek is moderately strenuous but very scenic. Take that to the falls, and take the high road out.

“Watch your step!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

It is a long walk, but so much to see along the way. A true nature hike, and well marked paths on both sides of the creek as you make your way up and back from the falls. Definitely worth the effort.

“worth the hike”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

Pack a lunch and hike up to the fall and enjoy your lunch at the foot of the falls. Well worth the hike.
