“Does not get better!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

In every respect, the food, service and atmosphere was 5 stars plus! - the passion and skill from both the owners and their team showed through in everything about this wonderful dining experience - this establishment is just not awesome on the NZ stage, but right up there on the world stage - all power to the whole team at Food @ Wharepuke

“Food at Wharepuke”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

We visited on a Friday night and were pleasantly surprised that there was aThai banquet on offer. The restaurant was packed - so best to book if going on a Friday. The food was excellent - good value, good portions and we had very good service

“Excellent Ambiance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013 via mobile

The best ambiance and Karma in the area. We did not have a booking and inspite of the obvious popularity of the restaurant we were directed to a table. The staff were pleasant and very accommodating. The food was excellent with a nice selection of wines. For me it's all about the Sauvignon Blancs in New Zealand as I am yet to experience a great NZ red. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good food and good ambience. Enjoy !!!

“Excellent Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

We had dinner here twice in 4 nights, very good food set in a lush garden. Loved the desert and the crispy duck.

“Perfect Fusion”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

We quizzed the manageress at The Wharf in Russell for where to eat in Kerikeri for our day tripand she recommended Wharepuke. A little hard to find, but what a fantastic place. The kids enjoyed the fresh fish and chips and the wife and I had a great selection of Thai inspired fusion dishes. The spicy, sweet and sour scallops were a standout. The gardens are wonderful and we almost lost the kids. We struggled to find it at first... it's on the road between the supermarket and the stone store.
