“A very pleasurable stay in immaculately presented accommodation with the most accommodating hosts.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2010

We stayed for the KeriKeri half marathon. Our room was beautifully presented and so comfortable- definitely needed after our run! We loved having both the privacy of our own seperate room/ensuite, and the company of our hosts upon arrival and at breakfast time. Wendy was very accommodating of our needs and went out of her way to ensure we were well fed and catered for, even though we couldn't make breakfast time on the day of our run. Thank you so much!

Wendy and Tony were the friendliest hosts we have ever had. The rooms clean, the linen fresh, the food delicious, the cottage amazing. Breakfast with our hosts was really fun and Wendy and Tony went out of their way to make sure that we were very well looked after.  They were so well organized and made sure that we were informed of all the activities around the area. Their suggestions for restaurants were spot on. We loved our stay at the cottage and look forward to coming back in the future.

Loved the room, comfortable bed lovely crisp linen and spotlessly clean. We only stayed one night but were made to feel so welcome we felt we had stayed longer. Wendy and Tony are delightful company and the breakfast was delicious, cooked and presented beautifully by Wendy so competently!! and the coffee was a real treat done to perfection.
The location is good for lots of points of interest in this area.
We could not recommend this place more highly, find an excuse to visit Keri Keri so you can stay here!! Mark and Julie Eagle Havelock North

Tony & Wendy have a great place in Kerikeri. They are great hosts and Wendy is a great cook. Each morning Wendy greats you with pancakes, waffes, and great coffee made however you like it. The room is very comfortable and quiet. The WI-FI works like a champ. If you are ever lost for something to do or a place to go eat, Wendy and Tony can point you in the right direction. We can not recommend this place enough.

We had an excellent stay here and we loved the good service and food. The breakfast was the best we have ever had and a good start of the day. We enjoyed the talk we had with the hosts and was glad to get information about the country. We enjoyed every trip they recommended. Too bad that we had to go.

We were pleasantly surprised by Kerikeri's charm and instantly fell in love with it. Treghan Cottage was superb - Wendy and Tony were great hosts. They left us to our own devices in the evening, suggesting places to eat (Wharepuke Food - delicious) and visit that evening and the next day. The next morning we ventured round to the main house for a delicious breakfast cooked by Wendy. The pancakes were scrumptious, as was the rest of the meal. Wendy and Tony were from Wellington so it was great talking about familiar places with them and sharing our travel stories. They were great hosts and we would love to visit them again!
