“Home away from Home - but better!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

My new husband and I spent out Wedding night at Treghan Cottage and waking up to the tranquility (and AMAZING) breakfast was an absolute joy!
Tony and Wendy were fantastic hosts, very personable and friendly. The grounds were just lovely and the suites were beautiful and very well appointed.
We were very spoiled and didn't want to leave.
We absolutely recommend Treghan Cottage and look forward to our next stay!

We recently had a business trip to Kerikeri and had the pleasure to Stay at Treghan Cottage. The location is very central. With a number of services very close by. We did not have to travel very far for a fabulous Indian dinner. The owners Tony and Wendy were very helpful and were genuinely interested in us. They provided a beautiful breakfast and good company the next morning.
Many Thanks Diane and Scott

We had a lovely, peacefully stay with Wendy and tony. Not only was it wonderfully comfortable but they made us feel like instant friends, we loved being invited into their kitchen and Wendy as a fellow foodie makes a scrumptious breakfast. We left great friends.;) thanks so much for your generous hospitality. Love Ana & Geoff.

I have just spent two wonderful days at Treghan Cottage. Absolutely superb in every way. Every detail is catered for to ensure that you feel pampered, from the luxurious bedding and surroundings, to the delicious breakfast. Set in lovely gardens with a serene outlook and birdlife you feel transported to another world.

Room Tip: Both rooms are equally good with a tranquil outlook.

We are delighted that you had a relaxing time in our secluded setting, yes it is very tranquil with the sound of the water fall into the fish pond and the abundant bird life in the garden. I think it helps not beeing surounded by neighbours in a large garden, good way to unwind, come again soon. Thank you for the review. Wendy and Tony

I loved my little private upstairs Fantail Suite at Treghan Cottage, it was so snug and personal. I lodged there for eight days, and by the end of my stay Wendy and Tony were more like old friends than B&B hosts. We had some wonderful breakfast conversations. Wendy's waffle with bacon, fried banana and maple syrup is not to be missed.

Treghan Cottage and the owners Wendy and Tony are number one. Two weeks prior to my stay they moved to a new site. They were fully ready for guests. The room was spacious ,comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated with all the amenities one could ever want. The views and gardens were amazing. Tony and Wendy made me feel the a close friend from the past and welcomed me in every way. I could have stayed and chatted for days. Breakfast is by provided by choice and wonderful in every way including taste and presentation. The owners were helpful in planning what to see and do and making arrangements. A great value and a great B and B! It does not get any better than this.

From the moment we arrived Wendy treated us like old friends. Charming, accommodating and friendly. A perfect hostess. Our suite was entered through a vestibule and we had a spacious living room where she set up a bed for 1 of us, a well stocked mini bar and kitchenette, bedroom with king size bed and a good size bath. Beautiful views of gardens and beyond.
Excellent breakfast with choices.
She made suggestions for excursions all of which we did.
This was truly a wonderful experience.
They had only moved to this location a couple of weeks ago and had it set up beautifully.
