We were staying the night and decided to have breakfast downstairs in the diningroom. I ordered the french toast with bacon banana and maple syrup. I cannot say that I have ever eaten deep fried french toast! The taste of cooking oil dripping off the toast was rather off putting and needless to say we were very disappointed. This got worse when we asked for a flat white from their espresso machine which was nothing else insipidly flavored hot milk.
On the other hand the dinner we had was spectacular! We simply couldn't fault the fillet beef we ordered along with very yummy desserts, one being the chocolate silk tart and the other the banoffi pie! All highly recommended and will be back for dinner again.
