What a great find, this place was amazing great value for money, very spacious, clean and tidy, quiet, great for the family, Karl even picked us up from the airport and transfered us to the apartment. This place is very close to the beach and what a beach it is! we will return........

we stayed here for a week with our 2 young daughters (age 4 and 1). it was totally perfect. we had 2 double bedrooms, and great lounge and kitchen area and a nice decking area. it had everything we could want, and it was very clean. the location was perfect so near the beach yet in a side road so not anywhere near the busy highway. infact it was totally quiet. the beds were some of the most comfortable i have slept in away from home.
i have to say the owner did more than i would expect from anyone. our baby got ill at 10pm and he and his wife called the doctor for us and then drove us all the way into perth at 10pm to get her to hospital! Incredible.
He also runs a car hire place 'sunset cars' whom we hired a brand new car from. i would really recommend both the car hire and the apartments.

A very Nice, spacious apartment in a quite street, yet only 2 mins from Scarborough beach. The owners are very friendly and Helpful. A very good base to explore Perth and the coast. which are all lovely.

We stayed in the lovely Dunes apartments in April 2006. We were visiting Perth for a wedding and found The Dunes to be a really nice place to stay. They have a great webiste which shows pictures of the apartments. [--] They a nice and big, very clean and modern. And the place is really convnient to Perth, only 20Km away. The Dunes are in Scarboro, which is a beach resort. You can walk to the beach from The Dunes, it's only about 400m.. Even so, the complex is nice and quite and secluded.
The apartments are 4 star approved and good value.
We went over to Rottnest Island for the day which was great. You can get a ferry from Hilary's Harbour which is only 5km down the Sunset Coast from the complex.
The folks who run the place are very helpful. Karl and Evelyn McGough.
I would really recommend this place.
Excellent location just 200yards from the fantastic safe, clean beach. Helpful friendly owner. Fully serviced and self-contained apartment. Shared barbecue area and private decked patio. Superb accomodation for the perfect Aussie beach holiday. Clean, fresh and modern. Owner has car rental company. We'll definately be going back!
