Owner description: Coral Bay Ecotours are a fully accredited tourism business of Australia, an adventure tour company working within the realms of the magnificent Ningaloo Reef, Western Australia. Join us on a fantastic marine ecotour for the chance to swim with the awe inspiring manta ray, which the professional Eco tours staff will endeavour to deliver, in what has become almost a daily event in Coral Bay on the Ningaloo Reef. Why not embrace this opportunity to go snorkeling in Coral Bay with the largest winged creature that inhabits our ocean. Coral Bay is also one of the only places in the world where you can actually go swimming and snorkeling with the whale sharks - the world’s biggest fish. It certainly is an experience of a lifetime and the main seasonal attraction for guests from all over the world.

“Unbelievable day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

We did the Marine Eco tour and though the day was really windy and a bit bouncy on the boat, we had the best day. We saw turtles, dugong and humpback whales on the surface, and snorkelled with mantas, turtles, rays, grey reef sharks and millions of other fish species. Truly a Marine Eco tour in every aspect. Christie and Max were in the water with us, and the emphasis was on looking but not impacting on the marine life, and Matt was only too happy to take you anywhere he could in the boat......want to see Tiger Sharks, they are usually over in this area, turtles are usually seen in that area.......nothing was too much trouble.

Thanks to Matt, Bubs and Max for showing us around beautiful Coral Bay, and sharing your knowledge with us. Your tour was one of the highlights of our holiday......thanks!

“Whale Sharks, Dolphins, Hump Backs & Reef Sharks !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

The whole trip was superb, the staff friendly, chatty and knowledgable. We had two adults and two kids (10 and 8) in our family and there was around 20 people all up swimming with the whale sharks split into two groups. The boat was not cramped with this many people and there was always room to move around and find a quiet spot if you needed it. Organising the two groups to jump in was perfectly co-ordinated with the spotter plane to maximise our time with the whale sharks. We saw four or five on our tour ranging from 5m to 9m.

On the way back to shore we would often spot whales or pods of dolphins and it was no drama to stop and watch these for a while. The whole day was fantastic, the kids and adults had the best day. One tip, take lots of warm clothes. We were here in early July so a tad chilly and there can be a while between snorkels.

“Fantastic day with a great crew”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

I just went on a Marine Ecotour today with Matt (skipper), Christie & Max and had the best time! There were 9 people who took the cruise with only 7 of us who wished to snorkel, so Christie & Max were able to share their time with each of us during our swims. As I am not a good swimmer, both Christie & Max took turns in towing me along behind them in the water while they did the hard yards swimming after manta rays, reef sharks & turtles. It was an amazing experience being in the water floating above & observing these marine creatures in their own habitats and I thank the 2 girls for enabling me to do so (and doing it so willingly & capably) - it is something that I really appreciated. Our snorkelling group also saw beautifully coloured fish & coral and from the boat we saw a dugong, dolphins & hump back whales - what more could we ask for! Matt was obviously an excellent 'spotter' and is a friendly & easy going skipper who would check with us all as to where we wished to go next, ie to the turtle nesting area, to look for mantas, to the reef sharks etc. The crew gave relevant & informative talks about the marine life, safety aspects & nature of the cruise and we also asked many individual questions of them which they were always happy to answer. I would definitely recommend the Marine Ecotour cruise to everyone.

“Excellent whale shark experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

Fantastic crew, nice lunch & awesome snorkelling. We got in about 4x with whale shark for a total of about 25 mins, as well as fantastic reef snorkelling. We were not crammed in the water, groups were small so felt like you were swimming alone. My husband & I took our 7, 5 & 2 year old daughters & we all had a brilliant day. Thanks to amazing crew - Kate, Charlotte & Prue!

““Unforgettable, Awesome, you take your pick “”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

Words do not do justice to this trip of a lifetime. We were still smiling 2 days later.
From start to finish everything was great and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly and informative staff.
A warm up snorkel saw us with a myriad of colourful fish, a 2 metre tawny nurse shark followed by a stingray, seen from a safe distance.
The Whale shark lived up to expectations and you quickly get used to the adrenalin rush.
When we were back on board for a lunch, we sailed passed humpback whales, dolphins and minke whale. The final Snorkel was with turtles and small sharks. We all arrived back happy and contented. Well done guys!
