We enjoyed a great roadtrip from Perth to see the Pinnacles national park.
We had been advised to time our visit with a full moon .... to go and see the Pinnacles during the day, head off from some dinner, then return again in the evening to see the Pinnacles lit by the moonlight. And WOW WOW WOW. It was wondeful.
The daylight visit was fantastic. We also saw a bunch of wildlife. But the moonlight visit was an adventure. It's eerie sitting amidst the Pinnacles, with your car lights off, and you can see every star in the sky shining bright. You feel like the only people in the world.
We camped overnight at the caravan park in Cervantes, and had ourselves a BBQ at one of the sites just off the main road. A great road trip.
