“So funny sitting in a real firehouse with pole and all eating a meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

Very cleverly architectured, this restaurant is like none other. The food was delicious, gluten free for coeliacs available, a tad noisy, open for breaky, lunch and dinner, it is slightly over-priced, but worth the money for the quirkiness.

“Potential to improve”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013 via mobile

Visited after friends recommended it, we went for lunch on a weekend day, impressive menu but it didn't live up to expectations. Friendly staff however they seemed to be very busy doing very little. Dishes serves were smartly plated but something was missing, I will return to see if it lives up to its billing

“Outer metropolitan excellence”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

Have dined here several times now and each time I have been impressed by the menu, superb food and exceptional food presentation and excellent service. Tonight the lamb noisettes main and toffee apple desert were superb.

Well worth the trip out to the 'burbs.

Highly recommended

“Dissapointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Ate here whilst staying with family in the area, really could not see what all the fuss is about, the food was reasonable but nothing special even the Wagyu steak.
The menu is very modern with some very odd dishes and mixes of flavours.
We also thought it very expensive.
Fire station history, photo's etc were a nice touch, would be nice if they explained a little more of the history.

“Great Valentine's night”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

Fabulous Valentine's night meal. $80 per head set menu included glass bubbly/beer, house-made nibbles, entree, main incl side dish, dessert platter, tea/coffee and macarons. Whole meal was beautifully cooked. Upstairs room more intimate than downstairs. Staff friendly.
