“A treat for the locals!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

A lovely cafe set up in a shop full of handmade goodies. Great coffee and service with a smile, with reasonable prices and specials to tempt you to try the cakes on offer. Awesome toasties.

“Friendly, Welcoming AND Gluten free - cafe and local hand crafted items”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

What a gem of a find this place is! It hasn't been open very long but I can see it fast becoming a regular haunt for coffee with friends. Run by 2 local ladies, they have light lunches, sweet treats, yummy coffee ( my favourite of course), with plenty of gluten free choices, and a large variety of teas also.

I've been here a few times now and it has always been comfortably busy, but I have never had to wait for service. The owners serve you with happy, genuine smiles and cheery chats. There is an area set up for young children to play, with lovely toys too, (if only I was younger, ho hum). A relaxed buzz is how I would best describe atmosphere here.

If you are there without the little ones you will enjoy even more so, looking around at all the locally hand-made goods, all for sale (I've bought 2 birthday presents so far). They have everything from a pair of earrings to bed quilts, soaps to dresses, bags to wine glass holders.

It is on the main street, however there is parking behind if you're stopping and short term parking at the front if you're getting a take-away cuppa and treat, and the pathway is covered. They also have a few tables outside with umbrellas, too cold at this time of the year for me though.

What I like best and least? Best - Love the hand crafts, love the food and beverages, love the atmosphere - least, closing at 2pm on Saturdays :-(
