Booked a night away stayed at the motel and booked in for dinner with my husband. Ordered the bread with blue cheese butter..scallops..chilli prawns...twice cooked duck...and eye fillet. Scallops way over cooked, prawns not firm they were mushy (a sign of being overcooked), twice cooked duck was very dry.
Staff member we had was being trained although being overseen by an experienced wait person during service we didn't receive cutlery, were asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu when we had just finished entrees.
Saviours were the eye fillet and the amazing wine list. Such a shame the wine glasses were dirty and water stained and of the two bottles of red we ordered (about $300) of our $456 bill one only reached a decanter.
All in all a sub standard meal with a few saving graces but I expected more with the location and ambiance it portraits.
