“The Inn at Westwood Farm is simply the best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2009

The Inn itself is beautiful (Elizabeth knows her way around a color palette). The library and the front porch are a great match. Jay keeps a luxurious hen house....so it's fresh eggs for breakfast! On top of all that, Elizabeth & Jay are wonderful hosts.
If you are anywhere close (think Washington D. C.) go stay there, you'll love it!!

“Refreshing in a farm located elegant B&B inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2009

Inn at Westwood Farm is a special place to be. If you want to get away from busy urban life, this inn is a perfect choice. Inn is surrounded by a beautiful farm. You can take a walk taking an eye on one rooster in the group of twenty seven hens. Elizabeth and Jay, innkeepers, will tell you a great story of their chicken farming. Inside inn, all the arrangements are very much refined to the details. Bed linens and towels are a top quality, and color coodination of wall papers, furniture, and bed spread is excellent. Best of this inn is hospitality of innkeepers who treat a guest like their friend. I felt like home and booked up already for my next trip. A dog and two cats will make children happy. Inn is very near to Montpellier to drop by. 40 minutes of driving to Charlottsville through a peaceful countryside road was very nice. It's somewhat expensive compared to a big hotel chain, but it's worth. Inn has only 4 rooms. Hurry up to reserve in a fall season.

“The absolute best Bed & Breakfast experience ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2009

Elizabeth & Jay have created a very comforting environment for their guests and make you feel like you are at home. The Inn is in a beautiful setting with many wonderful amenities such as whirlpool tubs, fresh flowers, exquisite linens, early morning coffee outside your door, and a fantastic breakfast too!
You instantly feel like you are part of the family once you walk through the door! Elizabeth & Jay will help you find your way around the area or suggest things to do or places to eat. I highly suggest anyone wanting to stay in the area to stay here....you don't want to miss the experience!

“Fabulous Bed and Breakfast experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2009

Everything about this inn was right on the mark. It is a lovely 19th century farmhouse that has been totally renovated. The interior is decorated with an eclectic mixture of contemporary furniture and art with french country pieces. Very well done, not overstuffed or overdone. A very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. My room was a nice size with a view of the inn's gardens and horse pasture. The linens were exquisite. I am very particular about cleanliness of the places that I stay and this inn exceeded all of my highest expectations. The duvet cover on the bed was freshly laundered...never crossed my mind to strip it off the bed and hide it away until my stay was over, what I do at most Inns because the comforters can be so nasty! My bathroom was quite large with plenty of space to keep my toiletries. The tub was large with a jacuzzi and the shower head was one of the large round ones that makes it feel like you are showing in the rain. Breakfast consisted of the best organic eggs I have ever had in my life! We had scrambled eggs with fresh herbs from the garden. I also sampled one of the freshly baked scones they offer..absolutely delicious. Fresh fruit, that included freshly picked raspberries from the garden, artisan toasted bread with homemade jam was also served. In the afternoon, local wine and brushetta with toast rounds was offered. The innkeepers are truly passionate about what they do and it shows. The inn has wireless internet if you need to stay connected and a very inviting room to watch TV if you can't go without. The innkeepers are very informed about the area and things to do but are not invasive if you want to figure things out for yourself, but why would you!

Truly a 5 star experience at a very reasonable price!

“Luxury at Westwood Farm”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2009

Don't miss the chance to stay at this fabulous farmhouse set in the beautiful Virginia countryside just outside of Orange. Elizabeth and Jay are first class hosts and do all that they can to make your stay an enjoyable experience. Our room was large, tastefully decorated and had little touches like chocolates by the bedside and a glass of wine when you came in that made you feel special. Like the bedroom, the rest of the house is tastefully decorated and very relaxing to sit in and unwind after a day sight-seeing. Breakfast was a gastronomic experience that set up the day nicely. Our one disappointment was we were booked in for 2 days only. You will regret it if you don't pay a visit to this charming Inn.
