“Yummy Italian”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

Being Italian myself i know good food when i eat it and i am never disappointed with my meals here!
Restaurant itself could maybe use a bit of a facelift as its a bit drab but i continually come back as it is tasty, good service and local to my area.
Nice for events such as birthday dinners.

“Left Hungry!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

Had a birthday celebration paid $35 per person for 27 family and friends only to get 4 small pasta's, 4 garlic pizzas and 4 meat lovers pizzas!!!! To then have the girl from the resturant come up and asked if that was enough food!!! REALLY! most of the people there were grown men who would eat 1 pizza alone! After being completely gobsmacked by her question I did mention that we would need more pizza, only to have 2 more pizza's come out after 25 mins of waiting!! I Would not recomend going to this place, nor will I ever go back!!

“GOOD NIGHT OUT”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

Went for dinner saturday night(oh and Tuesday night after melbourne cup).
Tuesday was with the wife-saturday with friends. The hole dinning experience has been great.
We have been going to Valentinos for a while now, they were originally in a smaller restaurant in high st Penrith a few years back.the Restaurant is a lot bigger and has a great atmosphere.
Saturday we booked at the last minute but the managed to get us in as it was pretty booked.
We were given a small table for 4 people and asked if there were any others by chance.
The waiter had a look but informed that sorry all others were pre booked.(Which we accepted)
After we had finished a garlic pizza as a starter, the waiter had been cleaning a larger table next to us ,(once previous dinners had finished) and offered to move all our plates<glasses etc to this table.Nothing is to hard or they with accomadate where ever possible.
Every time we have dinned here we have had a great dinner.Food and service.
Weekends can get busy, so may pay to book ahead.look forward to returning.

“Exceptionally great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

We have eaten here quite a few times now and love to come back. We are greeted as old friends every time and always made to feel special. The staff are friendly, pleasant and efficient, without being intrusive. The decor is a modern restaurant with Italian touches. The menu has been well thought out and the wine list is great. They can cater for a large party and also for an intimate dinner for two. We had Crumbed king prawns for entree tonight and it was served on a wooden platter with greens leaves, lemon wedges and seafood sauce that was very tasty. They were freshly prepared and disappeared quickly - we loved them. There is a good variety of woodfired pizza - Sienna'sDad loves the Falerna. I enjoy the pasta and almost always opt for the Fettucine al Pollo, it is delicious. Although the chicken cooked in a creamy mushroom sauce runs a close 2nd for me. They have an array of changing desserts, if you still have room. Make sure you try their chocolate gelato in amazing shaped bowls, but get 2 spoons to share. The coffee is proper espresso and tastes great too. We have never had a negative experience here and are already looking forward to our next visit. Just make sure you book on a Saturday night - they can get very busy.

“Good food, friendly service in a popular restaurant.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2011

THE TRIP ADVISOR MAP TO THE RIGHT HAS THE RIGHT ADDRESS BUT THE POINTER IS IN THE WRONG PLACE. IT HAS BEEN REPORTED ON 01/09/2011

I went to Valentino’s with my wife in August 2011 after looking carefully at the various reviews for restaurants in Penrith. I was concerned that the area appears to be bogan central with little in the way of good reliable places to eat a decent meal.

Valentino’s is just a little distance from the main restaurant precinct in Penrith, being upstairs on the outside of a shopping centre with plenty of parking.

It was midweek and the large restaurant was fairly quiet as we had got there early. We eat the antipasto platter for two and after I had a pizza and my wife the calamari. All the food was good and the service friendly and attentive.
This restaurant is quiet and pleasant. It is obviously a popular family run concern and as we left the place was filling up quickly. I think this place is a good choice for Italian food in Penrith.
