My wife and two daughters stayed at the bahia marina resort in culebra on july 8 thru the 11th and had a wonderful time.First I would like to say that we have a house on the mainland and have lived in P.R. for many years.Culebra has the friendliest people and small town feel, unlike the mainland which is a sad situation. The staff was great, Ken,was the greatest, giving us a whole lot of info and help over and above his job.The rooms are very nice with two bathrooms, kitchenette and a good size living area,a balcony with an awesome view of the bay.The resort stays booked so reserve your whole stay if you can.The grounds are well kept and they'er adding more rooms overlooking the shipwreck pool area. The food was good but a little pricey,so we opted to go into town for our meals, however we could have cooked in our room for it had everything we needed. The resort is not on the beach but Ken or the van driver were all to happy to take us whenever we wanted,we opted to rent a golfcart from carlos jeep rental for $4o a day which was worht it.If you follow any advise in here make sure you follow this,"Do not take the ferr the whole system sucks big time"spend the $32 plus tax and fly it's more adventurous an hour faster and you don't have to deal with the ungodly long lines and crappy attitudes from the people who work at the ferry offices.Don't worry once you get to Culebra you'll be in good hands at the bahia marina!
