“CLUB SEABOURNE IS THE WAY TO GO ON CULEBRA!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

Excellent stay and accommodations. Friendly and professional staff. Lots of privacy and space. Awesome food at the restaurant, great drinks at the pool-side bar. Beautiful design of the villas, great parking very close to your villa, and beautiful location on the island. Not far from "downtown" and the pier where water taxis and the ferry comes and goes. Lots of small bars and eat spots. Very close drive to the airport, and all the local beaches, to include the very beautiful Flamenco Beach. You can take an amazing drive across the island for some pretty amazing views of the ocean and surrounding islands. Great stay!

Another stay in Culebra Island; a branch of the Island of Enchantment. Spent the whole day in Flamenco Beach; awesome. The shore was clean and free of sea weeds, which seems it is being recycled as compost. Great!!!

Anyway, we stayed at Club Seaborne Saturday night (June 1) to Sunday. Hotel is really nice, villa was recently painted, and clean. Nice pool, spot for reading a good book, and area for family and business groups. Across the street you can enjoy "kayaking" at the bay and riding bicycle. Lots of trees and plants which freshens the environment and no flying insects molesting. Anyway, having an insect repellent is a must. Porch had a pleasent view to the bay. The best of all was Guava Restaurant! Delicious food and well presented dishes, excellent service from the Chef and waitresses. Just make sure there is enough Municipal water for bathing and good signal from the LCD Plasma TV if you have children.

It was good to see that Government is paying attention to fixing the streets and access to the beautiful beaches in Culebra. For sure, we will come back for another stay at Club Seabourne.

Room Tip: The lower Villas are closer to the Restaurant and pool, and distribution of Municipal water is bette...

This is a nice clean low key place to stay. The location is just okay on a hill with nice landscaping but there is no place to really walk to or see. The manager was friendly and provided no charge transportation to and from the airport. The room was simple and not luxurious and I would not define this as a club or resort. It was not clear that the breakfast was included since the menu had prices on it.

If your looking for a New Years Celebration of the beaten path, don't miss experiencing it Island Style at Culebra, the whole Town turns out for this party at the docks with live music, fireworks ( i must say much less pirotecnia than on the main island, we went with our 1 month baby and i felt very comfortable), and a very family- friendly atmosphere. Party till the wee hours of the night and enjoy some " caldo " shared by the locals from a community pot. Go watch the first rise of the sun and rest on any of the beaches on Culebra. However, be warned that restaurants can be hard to find on the 1 st, so plan accordingly.

Wonderful, quiet spot. Very bright and airy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They picked us up at the airport and gave us some insight about the island on the way to the hotel. They arranged for a jeep rental company to pick us up which was very helpful. When we returned to our room where the AC wasn't working the staff gathered us up and moved us to a more expensive room without hesitation (although the bathroom could use a little better cleaning) I felt this was excellent service.
Very relaxing to watch the chickens running around the grounds and listen to the doves in the trees overhead while at the pool or swinging in a hammock.
The restaurant is very good for dinner with an excellent menu but the breakfast leaves much to desire. The coffee and fruit bowl are good but when my wife ordered a breakfast with ham and eggs the resulting dish had a rolled up cold cut type of meat and a slice of processed american cheese.
All-in-all, despite a few minor things, this is a wonderful spot on a wonderful island.

This is our second stay in less than a year and we are really pleased with the whole experience. Carlos, the manager, as well as all the employees are always willing to serve you. Our room (#5) has a beautifull view of Fulladosa and Ensenada Honda Bay. The room as well as the bathroom are very comfortable and clean. Our only complain is the bed, the mattress is too soft and feels like is worn out. Other than that, we strongly recommend the hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for the deluxe suites #5 or #6.

We had never been to culebra but the mstique drew us ther to see the "World's best beach". It does nt ohave tehbest beach and we mad ea poor choice in our B&B so as we drove around the island ( lot's of poverty and drunk golf carts and little upscale) we stubled on Seaborne. Beautiful bar, very nice rooms. very pleasant host Guava ( their restaurant) is the best we tried on the island although the Dinghy Dock was almost as good. The pool was clean and refreshing. They have kayaks for guests to use for free so we had a great paddle out to some yatchs anchored nearby. We also checked out seabreeze which seemed to have nice grounds and a nicer pool. But the rooms did not look as pleaseant at least from the outside. We saw no other place on the island that could be called upscale. Seabourne has a clasic island character. Like a nice "camp" or family compound for adults not a resort feel. I guess that is why they cal lit a club.

Room Tip: room #1 has a nice sexy 4 posted bed with fan and is the closest to the main building but still far...
