My wife and I have gone to Sandcastle on Jost Van Dyke, BVI 3 straight years. It is THE most relaxing place we've ever been to and has one of the most beautiful white sand beaches we've ever seen with crystal clear water and most of the time there's no one on it. It's like a Jimmy Buffet song come to life; white sand, blue water, hammocks, cold drinks, island music, etc. Everything about this place is casual. The rooms are not luxurious but very comfortable. The restaurant is casual but the food is outstanding; especially at dinner when Chef Oliver always out-does himself. All the staff is so nice and unbelievably accomodating. It's almost like going to stay at a friends house, even when you're there for the first time. There are only 6 rooms. The Soggy Dollar Bar is popular during the day with boaters that anchor at White Bay. The rest of the time it is so peaceful. If you're looking for something to do after dinner, you may have to go over to Great Harbor to Foxys, etc.. White Bay tends to be real quiet at night. There is no exercise facility but if you get the bug, there is plenty of hiking and kyaking. There is no pool execpt for the big blue one connected to the rest of the world. We can't say enough about the staff; Bruce and Deby(the owners), Tina, Claire, Jim and Allison(managers), KC(bartender), Trixie(dog), Joan, Pinky and the rest.
