“Don't be latte … Visit Justin Thyme”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

While visiting friends in the area, we stopped in this cozy cafe for a bite. The "Justin Thyme Bean & Bistro" opened in May of 2013, just in time to coincide with the Trails, Tales and Tunes Festival. What a neat little spot! We had a wonderful meal and a great chat with the owners, Justin George and Lynn Daley. They are doing really fun things to hopefully turn a seasonal venture into a year-round success - a Titanic Murder Mystery, a NY's Eve Masquerade Ball, an American Jive Dine and Dance night, a 'Ginger'bread House night, a Polar Bear Express Seafood night, and a Valentine's Weekend. I love their creativity and play on words … they have a "Daley" Menu and "You're not latte, you're Justin Thyme" is the tag line on their business cards. We only ate here once, but we've heard from their frequent patrons that all their meals are "Justincredible". Check out their website: http://justinthymebeanandbistro.ca/ and Facebook Page.

“A delightful find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2013

Imaginative and excellent menu, which changes daily, with ingredients locally-sourced. We ate both a lunch and a dinner there and were delighted on both visits. Highly-recommended. We just regret not discovering it until our last couple of days in the area.

“Worth multiple visits”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2013

We had an excellent dinner here - very good selection. Reasonably priced. Great service. They do take reservations which are probably necessary. You should check days and hours they're open - a bit quirky.

“Coffee, Brunch, and Dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

Brunch was yummy and great value. Good coffee (and refills). Dinner was excellent with a nice wine list. Such a talented chef. Warm, friendly proprietors and wait staff. Great addition to the Gros Morne area. And open off-season! Yay!
