Our first visit, greeted with a smile when we entered, shown to our table and asked if we wanted to order drinks or wait until our friends arrived. Very relaxed. Plenty of choice on menu, settled for sausage and mash, something I very rarely opt for, I have to say it was delicious, the sausages were the best I have ever tasted, the mash was fluffy the vegetables cooked to perfection and as for the gravy ...... FAB! The choice of Desserts were also very good, very generous portions. Not once did we feel rushed. Very nice setting, quiet little village. The only negative comment I would make is that although the food is good, it is quite expensive, having said that we would return to this restaurant.
