“PRICEY NEAR "THAT LONDON"”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

Stayed here 1 night whilst on business. Reasonable 15 min walk from station, Check in was efficient although computer was down. Asked for taxi to be booked for next morning.
Room was usual Premier Inn. Clean, comfortable, basic. Bathroom clean but a bit worn and needing a quality renovation.
Easy walk back into Woking along canal path. Plenty of choice for food and drink in town.
Breakfast in Beefeater on sight was actually well above my expectations. Good quality sausages and coked to order. Plenty of choice of fruit, cereals and bread too. Staff very friendly and helpful throughout mostly local too I think.
Re taxi booking I double checked with night porter on way to breakfast. It had not been booked but this was soon taken care of and a clean modern taxi arrived promptly at the time I requested.
Price for room/Bfast was £109 which was steep for a Premier Inn but maybe not near London. There is a new P,Inn being completed in Woking centre so should offer more choice in future.

Room Tip: My room 17 was next to path to reception so a little noisy.

Adequate accommodation for the money, we traveled as two adults and two kids, all in one room, it was a good sized room with a nice bathroom. Unfortunately the family next to us were very noisy, kids running up and down the corridor, thankfully it quietened down around 10pm. Breakfast was nice and staff were ok.

I stayed at this hotel for a Wedding and this was the closest to the venue. Room large and clean, really quiet at night cosidering it is close to the town centre and was a saturday night. Pub next door is lovely, next to a little river, we had the evening meal and breakfast deal which was great value, food was nice for the price, staff helpful and attentive, sorted us taxis to and from the wedding. Could not fault this hotel

From the first step into our room we were hit with an extremely musty smell, dingy outdated decor and lackluster accommodations. Bad lighting in the room and bathroom. The saving grace is the pub/restaurant next door. Staff there is fun, attentive. Can't recommend this facility.

We used this hotel simply as somewhere to sleep overnight. Given the hotel's proximity to the centre of Woking, noise levels within our room were pleasingly low. We were puzzled by finding in our room no phone line connecting us to Reception, and on enquiry at Reception learned that the room phones in the main building had recently been removed 'as an economy measure'. The literature in the room, however, still referred to 'the phone in your room' and invited us to 'contact Reception'. I see the removal of these phones as a retrograde step.
We were happy with the services that Reception staff offered us, and very pleased with our room, which was large, very clean, in good decorative order, and with a very comfortable bed. The shower was easy to operate too.
We found the general surroundings relaxing, and enjoyed our stay. We felt that our room and our stay represented good value for money.

Visiting near by Thorpe park and Windsor for 1 night.Which location wise was great. The beefeater across the car park was very nice, lovely food and very helpful staff.
Check in at the premier inn though was painfull! The receptionist 'Dave' was dealing with another group in front of us who had a problem with their booking ,He was very unhelpfull to them, didnt aplogise for mistkakes with booking,in fact accussed them of making the mistake. When it was Our turn he said the same to us that we had two double rooms not family ,but we had requested family rooms as was travelling with teenage children. He relactanly said that there was a 3rd bed in each of the rooms and that if he had time he would make the beds up,or if he had the equipment?!.Very un helpful, and un enthustiastic.
The bathrooms had very unpleasant brown marks around shower taps and 1 of the rooms smelt mouldy. We did report this to reception.
we were also disturbed through the night from the room above making a lot of noise and the next morning I spoke to a female receptionist who was very helpful and offerd a refund on the 1 room for the poor nights sleep.
I did send a complaint letter about the member of staff (dave) but have had no response!
Very disappointing.

Good Room, Excellent Staff, Lovely Breakfast - this basically says it all. The family room was good sized, beds comforable. The breakfast excellent value especially as the children were "eat free" and the staff very helpful & efficient. Will definately use this premier inn again!
