“Great location - Good value for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2012

Quebec House, situated close to the centre of Westerham, is now open for the Summer. Forthcoming attractions include an exhibition of paintings by The Westerham Art Group.
Large car park (pay & display) nearby, picnic in the garden, buy drinks and ice cream in The Coach House. Taking a Family out for the day can be but expensive - Family Membership of National Trust includes admission charges + car parking (if the NT venue has its own car park) to all NT properties for a year - good value for money.

“Near Chartwell so worth a visit”

Excellent audio visual on Gen Wolfe and the Battle of Quebec in Gen Wolfe's house. Allow about 1 hour.

“Small but interesting house”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2012

Excellent stewards to give you information on the history of the place. It was the first property to be handed to the National Trust. Home of General Wolfe

“Not totally suitable for disabled people”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2012

This is a very interesting place to visit, however i was only able to view the ground floor as it is unsuitable for people unable to climb the stairs either to the main house rooms or to see the exhibition upstairs in the coach house of General Wolfes life + conquests. Maybe their could be something downstairs, either in a booklet in detail or on a computer/cinema type screen. When I visited the room guides were in old costumes and also around the gardens which were interesting. They also have activities for children + special themed weekends. The garden + ground floor are wheelchair accessible, as is small cafe + accessible toilet. As it is a national Trust property there is free entry for members.
Parking however is a problem there were no spaces in the car park and the village streets parking is very limited, especially as it is rather hilly around the area, so go early especially on a Sunday.

“Quebec House - just down the road from us”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2011

Quebec House is of especial interest in so far that we can see it, just down the road, from a bedroom window. My wife is a National Trust Volunteer, does the flowers, and Stewards as required. Previously rather dark and forbidding, the present Curator has changed things around so it now presents a welcoming experience. The old Coach House is now a shop/coffee shop, you can picnic on the lawn if the weather is pleasant. Inside, the house has been transformed - gone are all those "keep off" signs - try your skills with a quill pen or do a bit of tapestry.
