We visited Chows on Friday the 4th in the evening and we were warmly welcomed by everybody working there before being offered either a drink at the bar or being shown to our table.
The food was magnificent. Although not the most obscure items on the menu were chosen by the group the food was delivered piping hot and after a respectable amount of time. The taste wasn't all false and glazed like so many "too heavily MSG laced" venues but looked and tasted wonderful.
David, who owns and runs Chows, was on hand to look after his clients as normal and served his ubiquitous B52 après dinner drink to those who could and wanted to indulge rounding off another very enjoyable dining experience.
Well worth a visit (as I have been saying for the last 18 years now).
