“The Italian Room Bamford Rochdale Bellissimo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2012

Fantastico, heard about this restaurant through friends, whom advised on the Early Bird, Enjoyed the starter had the specials board Scallops which were superb, then had the pork with blue cheese with plenty of healthy veggies. Partner had the fillet Rossini, pate (looked amazing).

Lovely surroundings, cannot fault this restaurant, will go again. (maybe with the kids - squids).

“good quality, well worth the money, will be back.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2012

Myself and my wife went here for our wedding anniversary on 31st March 2012; the style of the restaurant is modern and clean.
On arrival we were given the menu's and wine list and our coats were taken, we were given plenty of time to chose and at first the starters do seem a little pricey, however I had the scallops, which I got 4 large ones which tasted very fresh and were well cooked.
My wife had a trion of bruschetta which wasplenty for a starter.
For our mains I had special king prawns with a brandy and mustard sauce which was fantastic and at £16 thought was a bit pricey until I had finished when it was worth every penny the wife had an italian pasta dish which was reasonable at around £7.
when we got the bill it came to £54 for two starters, two mains and a bottle of wine; we were to full for sweets. So that says it all, we will be definately going back.

“Only been twice, but its spot on”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2012 via mobile

The atmosphere, service, food and price are great.

I would say the most part of the menu is simple Italian, but its done very well. Nice friendly service too. I will be back

“Disappointed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2012

Nice place, nice staff, reasonable price but simply did not like the food. I had puttenesca and smelled too fishy to be healthy

“Good quality food, expensive starters”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2011

Lovely atmosphere in this restaurant, although a little quiet for December. The first thing you see an arrival are the specials on the blackboard. Had to double take when I saw the prices £8.95 - for a starter!!! They did have a 2 course for £12 option. Overall though very good food and wine. Will be back again, although would be more frequently if the starters were cheaper.
