“Breakfast was shocking”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

Stayed at Premier Ilford, not happy at all with service. Room far too hot, booked a twin room and got a family room, single bed was so uncomfortable. Breakfast service was shocking - to say the least. No tea, coffee, cups, bread the list is endless. waited 45 minutes for a cup and never got one, wait 40 minutes for a cooked breakfast.

The Staff were extremely Friendly and could not do enough for you. My only complaint is there is no air conditioning at this location. The Staff did provide us with 2 Oscillating fans though.
Breakfast is excellent for a perfect start to the day.
25 mins from central London by tube, Rooms were nice and clean.

This Premier Inn has the most fantastic friendly staff out there. As well as being super convenient for central London you couldn't be made to feel more welcome. A word of warning - no air conditioning! Our stay was spoiled by overheated rooms but compensated by the good night guarantee!

Another great Premier Inn, We like this brand the staff are always cheerful and the beds are very comfortable. There was a new Hypnos bed in our room at it one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on. The Beefeater Grill joining the hotel is also great for evening meals and their new menu gave us plenty of choice for the four nights we stayed here. The best part of this hotel is its location, easy to get to, free parking for all the time you stay, and across the road from Redbridge tube station. Get a visitors Oyster card and travel anywhere using London Transport, including the tube and the Docklands light railway(DLR).

Room Tip: Rooms facing the car park and not the road are quieter. Get a visitors Oyster card from Transport f...

We have stayed at this hotel 4 times now and for location you can't go wrong. The Redbridge tube station is literally right across the road and as it's on the Central line in Zone 3 you can easily get anywhere you want to go with very little effort. It cost us £22.80 per day for off-peak travelcards for 2 adults and 2 paying children over the age of 10. We parked our car at the hotel for free on arrival and it never moved for the whole week we were there. We asked for a top floor room to avoid hearing heavy feet from above and it was a spacious room.

It was very hot for our stay and although we had a fan in our room, it would really benefit from air conditioning in the Summer. The water pressure was low too so whilst the tap-fed shower was functional, it wasn't exactly very powerful. Staff were always very friendly and the restaurant attached was a Beefeater. Standard Beefeater fayre, which is fine but nothing special and not the cheapest. Breakfasts were fine but we only had it 3 times during our stay as we couldn't face any more. Nice and late times too - until 10.30 all week and 11.00 at the weekend, although they had packed up early one morning so it closed at 20 past 10 instead.

In summary, the hotel is fine, and decent value for a London hotel but it's the location next to the tube that makes it. If you want a reasonably good value hotel for a stopover to visit London then this will do very well.

Room Tip: Top floor if you don't want to hear noise from above your room, but there's no lift so that...

I HAVE JUST RETURNED FROM STAYING AT THIS HOTEL FOR 2 NIGHTS LAST WEEKEND.on arrival, the reception staff were very helpful, the only rooms available were the disabled rooms and I have to say this was lovely..The room was clean and tidy and well presented, everything you would need for a weekend away.
As I was meeting up with family I only used the hotel for sleeping, and to say I had the M11 out of my back window,i never heard a thing.the bed was spacious and so comfortable.i slept very well and the floor fan was an added bonus as the weather was very hot during my stay.
Breakfast was served in the breakfast room, and I must say I was spoilt for choice..the waitress was very friendly and explained very well how breakfast worked....there were cereals, fruits, toast, crumpets, croissants, yoghurts and so much more that you could help yourself to..then you could choose just exactly how and what you wanted to eat from the cooked breakfast...I was very satisfied with everything.
The hotel is 2 minutes walk from Redbridge underground,so getting into London was no problem at all.
A very ideal base for visitors with great amenities and staff.

Room Tip: I stayed in room 3 which was a disabled room, which may be on interest to guests who struggle on thei...
