Lovely staff at desk and breakfast. Very accommodating indeed and with a smile.

Parked free with no problems - seems safe area with many hotels lining this street. My friend and I walked about dressed as Patsy and Jessica Rabbit - I was expecting hassle to be honest but received none - just the odd dirty look!... Sorry it's Halloween. A fairly religious area perhaps.

Caught train from round the corner which is a two minute walk, to Liverpool street station - took 20 minutes and £4.80. There is a 24 hour bus from Oxford circus that takes you here - number 25. Hotel provides a taxi number that does a great deal.

With it being a seriously busy night for football and parties and only booking one week prior - we got a great deal. And breakfast! And a garden! And free parking! And little fridge! And free wifi! And massive full length mirror in hall to check outfit! And tv (that I didn't use)! And power shower!

I'm a very happy customer.

I booked a triple and double room for a family trip to London. I was very happy
Rooms were clean, staff polite and helpful, very close to the town centre and the railway station. Lots of free parking. Good wifi. Nice large modern tv
No complaints. I will use again.

We stayed here for one night and to be honest didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised for what we got for our money. The place clean throughout. The room was basic but clean and well resourced. Have no complaints whatsoever. The breakfast area was pleasant, tea coffee and fruit juice on tap along with toast, then a good English breakfast. Garden was a nice bonus to sit out in before we left to our party. We recommend this guest house and will have no hesitation of staying here again.

To be honest I came just to stay at night
I went out to get some food and the food shops are very close...
But I wouldn't recommend anyone to go out at night... The reason why I say that is because anything can happen to you in these areas... You'll get asked random questions by random people...
And it ain't safe at all to wander alone at night in This area...
Overall I was ok with the room I stayed in.. A very small room where you have to share your bathroom..
The room wasn't very well done up.. You had broken marks on the wall etc...
And I found the receptionist guy very rude via phone...
He was ok face to face

Attended a family wedding at the weekend and needed to stay overnight on Saturday. Down side was there was no parking spaces left when we got back late on Saturday night but apart from that we have no complaints at all. Room was small but clean, bedding white and fresh, nice shower and cooked breakfast... all for £42.00 !! Also we were allowed into the room well before 2pm which was very useful as we had travelled a fair distance. certainly would use this place again if in the area. Thanks to all the staff

It's converted from two townhouses. Almost 80% of the houses on that street have gone through the same change and now are hotels, including a Bestwestern.

The neighborhood is not so great. I would try not walking alone after dark. It is very close to a train station so travel in/out London is convenient, except that public transit is expensive in London.

The room is just average. Small rooms with average cleanness. The staff is nice and helpful. WiFi signal is strong with good speed. There's free parking, very rare inside London.

Just returned after 2 night stop .I must say to all the whingers and moaners whats the problem. We arrived at 10:20 am and was quickly checked in by the very friendly and helpful young chap at the reception although check in wasnt officially till 2pm we was shown to our room so we could leave our bags etc and head off into London. The room was of a good size with a small shower room with sink and toilet all nice and clean. The room had a small fridge tea coffee etc and TV.The beds were freshly made with clean white sheets. We normally stay at Formule 1hotel in Barking which was only a pound cheaper and had none of the facilities like we had here nor does it include breakfast which was great full english plus help yourself to tea coffee juice toast and a variety of cereals just great for the price we paid. The staff were fantastic i accidently left my wallet in the room and didnt realise till we got back home 3hrs drive form the Guest house.I phoned them and the chap at reception found them in my room and promised to post them the next day now thats service you dont get in all places we are already planning another stay in December and will be making it our favoured accomadation when we go to London thankyou to all the staff at Arran guest house Ilford hope to see you soon Kristian and Julie Grimsby
