“Excellent golf break”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2012

We stayed in the cottage to play two rounds of golf Thurs /Fri it is a perfect location and size for a small group. Dinner was superb, served to high standard in a small oak panelled dining room to a group of 4. Golf course was challenging for high and not so high handicaps. Very well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpfuld

“Beautiful Course”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2012

Great course and great service. Both courses were immaculate despite the amount of water they had had. We used a Golfbreaks deal so the value for money was exceptional. Highly recommended.

“Amazing Wedding Venue and Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2012

My Husband and I got married at Mannings Heath on Sunday 3rd June 2012. Everything about the pre-organisation and the day was amazing (even the sun managed to come out!) Lauren and the Team were so attentive and every item had been thought out and timed perfectly.

Mannings Heath was one of the only venues we found locally that could seat all our 90 guests during the ceremony, which was really important to us. The venue was ideal and has just been refurbished. We hired out the ground floor for the evening reception and the additional rooms and patio area allowed for our guests to mingle and talk without having to shout over the disco. We also had a kids play room and wii, which ensured the kids were entertained all night.

We ordered a cheese buffet in the evening and was overwhelmed by the amount and quality of cheeses. All of our guests have commented on the great selection and what a lovely change this is to a normal hot buffet.

If I were to do it over again (hopefully not) I would not change a thing. Thank you to all the Mannings Heath staff for making our Wedding all that we had dreamed of.

Rosalind and Chris Perrin

“Class Golf course Shame on Club House”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2012

My recent visit to the Club House and the facilities of Bars, 2nd floor function room, and overall accessibilty. The initial look of a mock tudor style grand building hides the fact that it has not been thought out wisely corridors are narrow, toilets are single occupancy so with 120 plus people at the wedding I attended it got frustrating. How they managed to get anyone disabled up stairs must be a nightmare. Times are tough for a lot of companies, but surely standards can be upheld in what is a High class venue, The staff were clearly at full speed so I dont blame them for what I felt was a Hit or Miss Show that night some seemed unsure where things were so I guess they were occasional temporary staff, the food was somewhat basic in construction and presentation which could not have been worth more than £10 per head, but a meal tastes better when someone else has paid for it so in fairness would rate it 6 out of 10 for effort. Terrible area for mobile reception, so tried using the payphone which did not work, then a Club phone line no luck, then asked the Bar staff to phone and that started playing up so ended up waiting over an hour to get a Taxi from Crawley as Horsham firms go to bed by 1am, so get the picture Hot rooms no air con, 15 plus minute wait to be served at Bars as staff shortage, meal was average, Stranded, loads of stairs to climb, full bladders waiting patiently in line, strange infestation of Alien like beetles attaching to people and furniture because windows open, expensive drinks and beer that tasted like your uncle Freds home brew at Christmas, so apart from that it was what you make it,and just aswell I say, a night to remember.
Little advice invest more in people and get some aircon, bigger toilets areas, better phones raise the standards again, and raise the FLAG for English Quality Hospitality, not just for a Hole in One,

“Great tradional golf club with excellent service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2012

The Waterfall Course is fantastic but you could need use of a trolley or rent one of the buggies because it is a bit up and down. Played it 64 net so I am very pleased with the 3 days I played there. The Kingfisher Course do was under maintenance and therefore not that great but it will be later in the season I am sure of it.
