I have stayed in many premier inns (Watford, Ealing) and so expected the same standard as those two hotels. Boy was I wrong! Firstly I found the whole process of having to go back outside the hotel to your car to put the parking ticket in - so that you don't get clamped. Not sure why you would do as there are barriers going in and out of the car park and you need to know the code.
Secondly my room was on the 3rd floor in the main building. Lets just say its a good job I only had a small bag with me. It is so far and you have to go up 4 flights of stairs, all at different locations of the hotel.
Thirdly, I walked into my room and it was freezing. For some reason they had left the windows open. The room was a L-shape which meant the TV (which was tiny) was in the corner of the 'L', hence you could not see it if you were working at the desk. Also you would need super sight to see it from the bed. I was expecting to hear the train noise whizzing past, what I was not expecting was to hear the 'AC' boxes that were whirring all night long. They happened to be positioned right outside my bedroom window!
Yes I paid £39 for my room, but I expect a nice room, not one which is just added in as there was a gap!
