“Fun place - good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

The no reservations policy (for parties less than 8 people) meant we had a 45min wait on a Friday night for a table for 2 - but we had a drink at the bar while we waited. Fun atmosphere, good food, not the cheapest but on par with other restaurants in the area. Just one criticism - please bring back the peanut butter milkshakes!!!

“Great food & cocktails”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

My husband and I were really impressed, he loves burgers to be cooked how he likes them and not to be told they have to be medium to well done. The food was excellent as was the cocktails, its good not to have to travel to far to get a decent cocktail. Prices good as was the service and atmosphere, will be returning.

“Best burger I've ever had. Hands down.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013 via mobile

Simply amazing. The piggy burger is incredible. Went last night and thinking of going again this evening. I love burgers but am often disappointed and find them a little dry but this was cooked to perfection and the coleslaw and pulled pork in the burger was lush and made the whole thing delicious. My boyfriend is American so we were a little worried he'd be a burger Bar snob but he too said it was outstanding.

“Very Good, but not amazing!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

Having heard all the fuss about this place, I tired it out last week with a friend that had already been and couldn't wait to go back.

The burgers were very nice, but I think it had been a little over 'hyped' and I have to say I have had equally as good, if not better burgers elsewhere. As far as local burger places go, if you don't fancy the journey to central London then this is definitely worth a visit.

Nice atmosphere, a very good choice of burgers, with beef / lamb/ chicken and veggie options. A good cocktail list also. The service was a little slow and for a relatively quiet Tuesday evening there wasn't any reason / excuse for it really. Our waitress cleared our table of our starters and asked if we were ready for our mains indicating that they were coming very soon, to which we said that was fine, yet 15 or so minutes later we were still waiting for them!

I would visit again as the food was nice. Chicken wings were very tasty and cheesy fries were also good. Good portion sizes as expected.

“Good burger, chips need improvement”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

Our first visit to Chucks - the burgers were good but the chips were not triple cooked, rather slightly undercooked. Could have a beer on tap also. Ice cream with honeycomb and chocolate sauce was nice. Service a little slow at times. A few changes would make it better.
