I would like to advise you not to stay at this hotel. The only good thing is the staff! I was disgusted at the small room allocated to us. I asked to move to a larger one because i was staying with my wife but they informed us we would have to pay more. I already felt we were being over charged for what we were in so i refused. However we checked out the next day. Its a shame because it is in a great location and the staff were always trying to smile. They need to refurbish most of the building to make any future business.

I've stayed at the Cumberland three times now, each for about a week. The location is great if you're working in Harrow, right next to lots of restaurants and a shopping center/theater, and not far from the Harrow-on-the-Hill tube station.The rooms vary, but all were fine. The breakfast is very good but I've never eaten lunch or dinner at the restaurant due to the proximity of so many restaurants.

The room was smelly - mildew/mold smell. There was mildew/mold on the wallpaper under the windows and around the tile in the tub. I requested a new room on 3 consecutive nights, but was told there weren't any. Even after buying airfresheners (both plug-in and spray) nothing worked. Even had to wash my clothes before I could go out in them, because of the smell.
When I checked out I talked to the woman in charge of customer relations and she said she would answer my complaint within a week and would compensate me for my problems.
My visit was in November and I've heard nothing and received my VISA charge for the full amount.
A total disgrace to the Best Western name and the town of Harrow.
