Where do I start.....
This campsite was a horrendous experience for me and my friends. When trying to book a week before intending to go, I was ringing them constantly and they would not pick up. They had an automated message saying to leave a number and name and they’ll get back to you, so of course I did this and they didn’t get back to me at all. Along with this I also emailed them which they did eventually reply to, with a helpful email telling me and by friends to come along with our tent, and if we found it too wet we could rent of the cocoons, which we liked the idea of. However once we arrived we were greeted by two unhelpful and not very friendly members of staff who told us they would not accept under 21's without an over 21 with us. I had to explain how I emailed them and how they said it was fine for us to come along yet they wouldn’t believe me and kept telling me I was wrong until they went and checked and found out I had indeed sent the email and they replied saying come along. Nowhere on the website does it say we have to be 21, but the woman told us it said it on the back of a booking form that should have been sent to me. I never received this booking form when I was sent the emails from them, and considering they did not answer the phone or ring me back there was no way of telling the rule was 21's or over. So after having a conversation with two quite rude and unhelpful staff, who didn’t really know what they were talking about throughout we had to turn around with all our belongings and go home. I highly recommend not visiting this campsite.
