This hotel was really well equiped (microwave, well stocked kitchen, dining table and balcony), clean and really affordable. Well, i say hotel but as the name suggests these are apartments which means dont expect anyone to come and make your bed or clean your room (you have to leave the room clean and rubbish free at the end of your stay or face a 60 Euro "cleaning fine" when you check out).
The location was great though, 10 mins walk to the beach, nearby shops and the bus depot is litterally 2 mins walk away (take the bus from Gerona airport to save a few quid). It was fairly quiet when we went (apart from the obvious noise of children) and has a laundret and its own little club.
The big issue for us was that you had to leave a 100 Euro (or £££ equivilant) deposit on the room when we arrived, cash only (no swipping a credit card) so factor in that extra cash when you are deciding how much money to take with you.
Still, bottom line is it was only £16 a night to stay there in a clean, good sized apartment close to the beach; it was more than adiquate for a mini get away.
