Lovely, intimate place. Supermarket was great - well stocked and not too pricey. Gorgeous pools, well maintained, lively but not overcrowded. Could always find a sun-lounger and some shade. The house was a 10 minute walk, well stocked, but how about a welcoming bottle of mineral water and a bottle of wine for those that arrive late? Would have been a nice touch.
Late at night, when there are special events on, there really needs to be more staff at the bar - not fair to see lovely people overworked! Great for kids but low on football. Was particularly impressed with the lifeguards and their constant vigilance. The friendliness of the staff and the laid-back atmosphere made this place for us.

Room Tip: Choose as close to the playa as possible

This is an average hotel. In overall good condition, simple and clean but from check in til departure service was never what one would expect in this popular vacation spot.
The worst arise when our room got broken in (clear signs of effraction on our balcony door) and we never got any sign of support or compassion from the hotel who kept asking if we had an insurance.

Room Tip: Be careful if you stay on the ground floor of the hotel as we heard from regular clients, this kind...

Had a great holiday at this property. We stayed in one of the Atriums, which was perfect for us. Ample parking, everything on hand, pools, beach etc. The apartment was well equipped although the kitchen was a little cramped. Having said that there was an oven, microwave, toaster and fridge/freezer in there so it certainly did not lack the essentials. The pool area was very relaxing, disappointed that we didn't get chance to go into the Spa pool, but that's an excuse to go back!! The only thing that let the whole holiday down slightly was the attitude of the buffet restaurant staff. We arrived exhausted and hungry and at about 9.30 pm we thought we would just get something quickly to eat. BIG MISTAKE.....payment for the food was upfront, euro 50+ which included buffet, a bottle of wine and water. There was very little food left at this time in the evening and was not replenished. There were no desserts to be had as they had all gone. The restaurant was closing at about 10.00 pm so we didn't have time to drink the bottle of wine or the water. We wanted to take these back to our room, but no, the staff were having none of that. They were very rude to us, pointing to a sign saying no food or drink to be taken out of the restaurant. We had to leave both bottles and feel they should have given us a partial refund, but of course that was not going to happen. Needless to say we did not return to the buffet "restaurant" and were thankful we were not on a half board basis. Overall we were happy with the accommodation, and it was fairly quiet during the daytime and nightime. I didn't think the bed was particularly comfortable but to be honest I find that with most overseas holiday accomodation. It certainly wasn't the worst I have slept on!

Attended a family wedding in this resort 1st week in September. Check in was smooth and efficient. We had booked a villa with extra bed, and our holiday home was clean and comfortable. When we requested extra pillows, towels and bedding, the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Other members of our family stayed in more 'fancy' villas, but we were more than happy with our home (110B) and thought it was great value for money. One small comment - the prints on the wall of the double room were a little unpleasant - I woke each morning to see a white cow with a red nose and a red bottom and (sorry if you own the villa ;-/) found it rather disturbing!! We were right next to the spa and the beach and had a great week. The wedding food was amazing, however much of the food in the restaurant was buffet, so we gave it a miss. We did dine once or twice at the pool cafe - felt it was a little expensive for food and drink, but a short hop into Cambrils gave us plenty of choice (lots of fish restaurants) and value for money. Not many English/Irish here, but lots of Spanish walking and cycling in the area, and we loved it. Would definitely recommend it and would love to return.

Just finished a week at PEP and can only say positive things about the place. Very friendly people and quite cosmopolitan.... If you like lots of English people around you don't go! Tennis, pools and beach all superb. Restaurants and supermarket very good but possibly on the pricier side. Villa (427) very spacious and clean and really convenient to all of the village.
Recommend bikes to Cambrils and Salou... Great fun. Beach party fun for young family til 12 and orders one after til 2AM.... Trenet (train) worth a ride if you don't mind high fiving a man in a chicken suit! Entertainment on site is also of good quality... Body balance was our favourite which was more acrobatics that might have been imagined.Spa was lovely ... Free to use as well which was a good surprise.

Just returned from a weeks holiday at Puebo Eldorado Playa. The villa was basic no TV (it was not made clear to us at the outset that we could rent one, we only found out when we were leaving!), no kettle but it had coffee machine/microwave/cooker/fridge-freezer. Very clean and well maintained. The villa has received a certain amount of refurbishment ie kitchen and bathroom.

We ate twice in the Bottom Coffee Bar (near the spa and larger pool) and both times they made mistakes with the bill.

There is WiFi internet, but just not within range of the Villa (we had to sit in the coffee shop, although we once managed to connect to it on the beach) and at extra cost.

The resort on the whole was good, although as Yammam stated the prices were expensive, but there was a lot of choice at the evening buffet (captive market). The gardens were lovely.

Also as Yamman stated, we were one of a handful of British families (mainly European - Swiss, German, Russian and Spanish). We did not mind this - We live near a major seaside resort, and wanted to be more low key and more Spanish, but if you wanted the company of Brits, this is not the place. The outdoor pools were great, and again well kept.

Cambrils, although a 30 minute walk, was delightful and we eat quite a few evenings there.

We hired bikes for two days and although again quite expensive were excellent quality and well maintained. The people in the cycle hire and sports shop next door were very friendly, and went out of their way to help us.

We did not use any of the sporting facilities, apart from the bikes, because we felt they were quite expensive.

The enduring theme of our stay appears to be that everything was spotless, efficient and at extra cost!

All in all quite a pleasurable experience, although we would return to the region, not sure we would stay here again.

Room Tip: Book early, we were left with the last available villa.

Seems as though we were the only British guests at this large complex during our 4 night stay at this resort. There was a large contingent of Russians who had their own dining arrangements.
We found the eating arrangements to be very expensive and chose to walk the 30 minutes to Cambrils centre to find a better choice of restaurants.
Our room was a standard room and was quite sparse, with no chairs in the main room, and only a couple of "garden" type chairs on the balcony.
Overall, the gardens and amenities were fine, and the buffet breakfast was plentiful. We ate one night in the upper "Grill room" which was sumptuous and expensive. Rooms and expansive gardens were kept spotlessly clean, which undoubtably added to a pleasurable stay.

Room Tip: Avoid "standard" room and try to obtain a better class of room, if available.
