“Nice hotel, remote location”

Very nice hotel, rooms are very comfortable and we had a hot tub on our balcony.

There is not must nearby, so you are confined to the hotel for food.

There is a supermarket in the lobby which helps and 2 small shops.

I could see the beach from my balcony, and to me it looked a bit dirty, not golden like the dunes.

The panoramic lift is really nice, good view of the pool. The hotel seems to have been built into the cliff/rocks

Have just returned from a 10 day stay at this hotel.the location of the hotel is not ideal unless you have transport,however this is the only negative about the hotel.We were given a junior suite on the sixth floor as compensation for the freshwater pool being out of use for 2days of our holiday.The standard of the room and the housekeeping was excellent.The breakfast buffet was more than adequate with a vast choice of dishes plus cook to order egg dishes(ask for a small omelette unless you have a large appetite) or this will be all you can eat.Without exception all the staff were very pleasant and most helpful.There were plenty of sunbeds and lots of choice of places to relax from pool areas to grassed areas.We ate twice locally the remainder of our stay we travelled to Melonorus were there is plenty of choice of good restaurants and is only about a 10 minute drive.We would highly recommend this hotel with the proviso that the location is not the best.

Room Tip: Ask for a floor from 6 th or higher they all have sea views however.

Should you be coming back and staying with us, please do not hesitate to visit surrounding areas such a Arguineguin, Anfi del Mar or Puerto de Mogan. Those are also great places to be discovered that are pretty close from the hotel.

My husband and I went here for a long weekend getaway and had a wonderful time. A big room with an extraordinary view of the sea, lovely pool area and a tenniscourt on the grounds (we played every day). Breakfast was Radisson-style, very good, and we had one dinner at the terrass on the top floor at sunset... most romantic! A sandy beach just outside the hotel door and a short walk to the Anfi beach with all the restaurants and shops.

Room Tip: Make sure you get seaview.

Having spent the last few years in the Park Inn West Bromwich I had finally accumulated enough points to use on a holiday. GC has been our destination with a young family and stays at the Villa Del Conde and Baobab were excellent. Therefore our expectations weren't high but open minded.
Arriving by taxi the location seemed to be poor and the immediate thought was that we were stranded near nowhere! However a cool Cava and the pleasant staff made for a good start. This was further improved by entering the room which was great. Plenty of space, nice decor, big balcony and lovely sea views (All rooms have this). The pool area is pleasant and plenty of sunny or shady spots and sunbeds on which to enjoy either.
The only minor point was entertainment which boils down to two nights out of seven with acts although the 2 for 1 happy hour was a great substitute. However the local area has a decent bunch of restaurants to the left and right of the hotel. Special mention here for a historic (Hope your up there complaining about the milk and honey Mr Winner) paella at Sagitarius. It is just to the left on the sea path and looks a little unloved but was honestly the best food of the holiday.
Back to the hotel, we all found it to be a well run and easy going experience that we wouldn't hesitate to repeat. Well done to the staff in all areas including the Spar shop who made us feel like we were guests rather than an inconvenience which some hotels can.

Just back from a weeks holiday to radisson blu in gran canaria, (first week in September) with a hire car from the airport the hotel was very easy to find and only 35min traveling time and could park at the hotel free. On arrival we were welcomed with glass of wine, quick check in and into our room with no fuss. Our room was on the sixth floor with a jacuzzi tub on the balcony with amazing views over the bay (ask for high floor) but with the connecting door you can here your neighbours in the next room!!! we thought the hotel was amazing and staff were friendly, We did have a small problem (maintenance to fresh water swimming poll) on our week,But Maria at reception dealt with our problem professionally and in a friendly manner. The hotel can be a bit isolated if you want entertainment and shops etc. There is a small number of restaurants & bars about 15mins walk. And Puerto Rico a short taxi ride away 3km with plenty entertainment (but wouldn't walk it) But overall lovely hotel and would return again

Room Tip: Ask for rooms above fifth floor and with jacuzzi

I booked 3 rooms at the hotel and all had a Jacuzzi on the balcony. The staff were excellent and upon arrival it was a nice taste (literally) that a glass of fizz was provided during check-in.

Unfortunately one of the pools was out of order during the final two days of my week which if I'm honest did upset me but I do understand maintenance is sometimes required and that I was just a little unlucky with timing. I have to admit though, as a gold elite status at clubcarlson I expected to at least be compensated with 1/2 price food / drink for the inconvenience.

The hotel is very clean and there is a SPAR shop in the hotel which is very useful and has reasonable prices.

I would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to return at some point in the future.

The Radisson Blu Resort is about 40 minutes drive from the airport. The reception was very professional , a glass of fizz helping to get the paperwork in order. We were in a one-bed suite on the sixth floor - lots of space for two , with a very comfortable bed and a fine balcony overlooking the ocean and the resort of Anfi to the west. The accommodation was very well supplied , dishwasher , washer drier , fridge freezer , coffee machine and enough crockery , cutlery and utensils for a family of six. In this room the balcony had table and chairs for six. The room could be joined with next door for a larger two roomed apartment , thus the balcony was separated by a screen - the other side had a hot tub and a couple of sun loungers - . Two flat screen televisions and a large shower room / loo with bidet . The cleaning and turndown service was first rate , lots of creams and lotions , fluffy towels , slippers and robes. There is a safe and a mini bar - although with an on site Spar store full of well priced wines , sprits and juice I would suggest that the mini bar is not a good option.
The two pools , plus a small childrens pond , are great , there are lots of sunbeds around the pools and in the gardens - there was some ' towel claiming ' behaviour at the start of our holiday - but this was not a big problem - there are lots of towels on hand , at all times.

Breakfast was really good , everything that you could ever dream of . There area number of really fine places to eat within a fifteen minute walk of the hotel - including the Palm Garden , the 222 SW , Valentino's and Le Aquarela.

The staff were all very professional from the beach bar staff to those at reception .Finally the late checkout facility (1800) was the icing on the cake.

A great spot - a great holiday.

Room Tip: Go high , for the views.
