We've owned at Anfi since early 90's & can honestly say there is nowhere else within Europe with such a high standard of accommodation. We have stayed at one of the Anfi resorts at least once every year & sometimes more than once. The place is immaculate with well maintained garden areas, accommodation has loads of space as well as fully equipped kitchen facilities. If anything is amiss then just a call to Reception & it's sorted as soon as. All the apartments have sea view which is fabulous & even in December the weather is always good. Don't know anyone who doesn't like it here & all the staff from reps to bar staff are very friendly & can't do enough for you. Looking forward to our next visit even though we've only just come back !!

We have owed at Anfi for 10 years and visited most years. I have to admit that the cost to buy is not cheap but you get what you pay for. When we initially bought it was because we said to ourselves that this is somewhere we could come every year (unlike some resorts) Gran Anfi is one of 4 Anfi resorts on the same site each one having at least 1 large heated swimming pool, a poolside bar and restaurant and attractive well kept gardens. If staying at Gran Anfi you are able to use any of the 4 resorts. Also there is a large public plaza which has a number of restaurants and shops and a small market and entertainment every evening. There is also a sheltered beach made up of fine golden sand, athough be advised it is open to the public and can get busy at the weekend.

The prices of the restaurants can be expensive but I think this is to be expected as they are on the resort and therefore offer convenience. If you want lower prices there is plenty of choice in Arguineguin, a 20 min walk, or Puerto Rico, a 5 min taxi ride.
A tip for happy hours - Anfi Beach Club & Gran Anfi is from 4-5pm & Monte Anfi is 5-6pm.

There is also 1 large and 2 small Spar supermarkets on site but these can be quite expensive for some things. We use the local off site supermarkets for most things and top up with heavy items such as water at the on site Spar.

The quality of the accommodation is excellent and probably the best if have experienced in my 10 years of exchange holidays. It is always spotless with daily room cleaning and change of bedding mid week. The balconies are large with every balcony at Gran Anfi having sea views. They are well maintained and furnished and any problems are dealt with by the staff immediately.

If you want a quiet relaxing holiday beside the pool with everything available on site this is the place to go. If you want more it 5 mins away in Puerto Rico. What you won't find in Puerto Rico is accommodation to the high standard of any of the 4 Anfi resorts

The hotel is great if you want to take your own control of your holiday. The rooms have a beautiful view and are comfortably furnished. The beach is quick and easy to reach and the grocery shop is not far away. On the Hotel grounds you can go golfing or go for a walk. For me the best thing was being able to see the sea from the balcony, sitting room and bedroom. All in one it was a very beautiful and varied Holiday for me.

Accommodation is the best I have ever had. Huge rooms, huge balcony with a sea view. The whole area was spotlessly clean, entertainment wasn't to our taste but would have been ok if you have children. Kitchen very well equipped with everything brand new and the spa bath in the bedroom was a nice touch. For me the best thing was being able to see the sea from the balcony, sitting room and bedroom.

Room Tip: Request a high room to get the best view

We came to Anfi as a timeshare swop, I was concerned because we had been to Tenerife some years before and hated it. We were looking for somewhere in the October half term with good weather and there aren't many places that guarantee sunshine. I am very fussy and I think I could still hate many resorts in Gran Canaria! There is very little not to like about Anfi, I think it has been created by someone just as fussy as me! Every balcony has uninterrupt views of the sea, the balconies are very private and you can't see or hear your neighbours, the apartments are spacious and have well equipt kitchens, and even if you don't want to cook it is still nice to have theses facilities and a good fridge to keep the chocs and gin cool. The pools are well designed and clean. There is a nice beach, an interesting harbour, tennis court and pleasant gardens.good wifi. Very middle class, slightly older clientele, mainly Scandinavian families at this time of year which is nice. Can't think of anything that isn't nice about it.......if I try hard to be critical, we hired a car with Cicar at the airport, only £111 for the week, with no insurance excess , which we thought was good, parking at Anfi, £50 parking for the week, not too bad but the car park has lots of concrete pillars which you can see have been scrapped by lots of cars.... Perhaps some rubber protective bands around them to stop damage to the cars....that's it, that's the only criticism I can find!!! Great holiday if you are looking for sun and luxury.

Fantastic as always. Apartments spotless and very well equipped, home from home. Grounds and gardens are immaculate. Beautilful views from every apartments, all looking out to sea. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good choice of Watersports on site are very good value for money. Lovely beach with safe batheing. Local ferry calls at resort every half hour so you can go visit places up the coast, very reasonably priced. Kids club on site. Live entertainment most nights. A very upmarket resort with everything you need. 5 star gold crown resort.

This really is a lovely resort, rooms are luxury and well equiped. Our two bedroom had two bathrooms aswell as a jacuzzi in the master bedroom. The gardens, pools and communal areas are very clean and well kept. Our room was also cleaned very well with linens changed twice weekly.
There is a great mini golf on site which was closed much to the dismay of most clients and ourselves.
The restaurants are not great we ate at Bella pasta which I guess was fair, El Paso Mexican was awful, Club sandwiches at El Bahia unremarkable and all a touch on the expensive side. My recommendation is to book a taxi and head to some of the locally reviewed restaurants.
There is also currently renovation work on the 9th floor a lot of drilling noise over the pool area and also work on the sea defences with lots of dumper trucks etc. (our room overlooked the service entrance so we were probably more aware of it than others). On the upside all rooms overlook the sea for wonderful views and sunsets. Highly recommend accomodation.
