Close to the sea (Avenida Maritima, what's in the name) El Sombrero is a restaurant we frequently visited in the past. The rest. is famous for L Horca (the gallow) an d the Sombrero (a kind of metal hat, alternative for gourmet). Our choice was La Horca Borneo. The gallow is placed on a kind of guitar-case. Instead of a rope, there hangs a short chain with a large iron bulb with a lot of nails in it. The bulb is very hot and on every nail is placed a small portion of steak. In the guitar-case is room for three delicious sauses an d a good fresh salad. The owner poured out some brandy on the hot bulb and put the meat on fire on our table, spectacular.
Its a friendly restaurant, relaxed atmosphere and nice people to serve.
