“a gem of a restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2013

A must visit if you holiday in fuerteventura .The food is heavenly,Perfectly sized portions and a brochette to die for. Service is first class and unobtrusive. The smell from the wood fire as the chicken is cooked is heavenly.Wine and meals are priced at the right level and there is nobody outside trying to drag you in.The restaurant opens bang on 7 pm and do not be surprised to see people departing local bars and heading in to the restaurant at 7 pm and having booked their tables in advance. We enjoyed 2 fabulous meals in the restaurant while away last week and it has to be the best restaurant in corralejo with views of the harbor and the island of los lobos. The restaurant closes at 11pm

“Great harbour front restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

Came in here for the first time. It looked good from the outside and had no one pestering you to come in. It doesn't need anyone. The food speaks for itself. The food is cooked on an open fire visible in the kitchen as you walk in. I had the fillet steak and my wife had sea bream. Both cooked beautifully and nice sized portions. Inside the restaurant is well decorated with a nautical theme and has a nice ambience and is busy. Many of the hundreds of other restaurants are very quiet. Definitely come again.

“Seafront Seafood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

After researching restaurants on Tripadvisor, this was one of our first choices.

On arrival they quickly arranged an outdoor table for us to eat with the view of the harbour.

For starter we shared the smoked salmon, mushrooms and prawns in garlic and the Caesar Salad. All amazing, In fact the Caesar salad is the best I have ever had!

For main we each had Grilled Lobster, WOW it was wonderful. Accompanied by 'Canarian' potatoes

Sadly we were too full for dessert.

Our stay was only for a week and we planned to return there but found them closed on Wednesday's

Service was good and the place was decorated in blue and white, very nautical for its sea front location!

Well worth a look...

“Best food and great experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

We were recommended this place by some local guides on a kayak trip (http://www.kayakfuerteventura.com - also great but another story!). The location is on the sea front overlooking the harbour and Lobos so the view was fabulous. The decor was very tasteful (according to the ladies present!). The food was out of this world. We went twice (we were on the island for a week and elected to return for our last evening meal). Recommendations: Fish of the day (done with baked garlic) and Vasque Pudding. The white wine from Lanzarotte was surprisingly good too.

“Waste of money”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

Nice place, well located and decorated, with good service. However, the chef is so bad it turns a really nice evening into a nightmare. Asking for a medium done 'entrecot' and receiving a bloody piece of meat (classic mistake, not allowing it to rest) could be acceptable, but guess what? When asked to grill it a little more he just puted in the potato frying machine!!! Advice to the owner: don't waste any more money too, get a new chef.
