ok people just to let you know i heard roumers about the british bakery and i was ready for the worst when i went in but by my surprise it was brilliant. I had been 5 years ago and it was reli good then i read the reviews on here so i was ready for the worst. but its the original manage team from 5 years ago they have only just returned back to fuerteventura after being in the uk for a few years. The food is Cheap and the quality is excellent. i beg you to go give it a try it has deffinitly changed for the good i think if the reviews are correct on here. the hotel was good the gym was very basic but my god the pool was lush. take care people and pay Windy Millers a visit

We stayed for one week self catering in March 2009. I have to say that the Dunas Club was wonderfully peacefull, which is exactly what we wanted. They have a gorgeous little restaurant on the side where they serve fantastic food, I think we ended up eating 3 meals there, we would have more but we came on a budget.

Corralejo is a small town full of all kinds of people which is great because it was such a cheap holiday I feared there would be lots of boistrous brits, but there wasn't, it was full of pleasant and smiley people which was fab.

All of the staff were lovely but I had no need to ask for anything. The only down side was that we were in a room right next to the lift which was noisy, but we weren't that bothered as our room was exactly what we needed and we didn't really spend much time in it. Facilties included: Hair dryer, fridge, microwave, sink and hobs, kettle and toaster. The towels were also cleaned every other day.

Go for a run along the path by the beach! You will find a series of wooden obstacles to do exercises on!

Myself & my partner went there last year, lovely place & wonderful people. Apartments were spotless with everything you need from Kettle to Iron. Wonderful weather i will certainly be going back to this hotel. Staff could not do enough for you and local people.I was quite disappointed to go back home. A lot of british restaraunts to eat from in the middle of the town. Again everybody so friendly. Rep from Thomas cook was also great and Neil (the man who advises of the skin care products) thank you for making it a wonderful experience also very relaxing which is what i went for

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Dunas Club and i am really dissapointed to be back home! We had an amazing time. The hotel was great we had i think the best room in the hotel, room 111. The room was massive and we had a great balcony overlooking the sea where we could watch the ferry's going across to Lanzarote. The hotel staff were very friendly and they arranged our car hire for us and also our trip to swim with the sea lions at the animal experience zoo in Corralejo. The weather was great all week. I would recommend going to the zoo at the south of the island as it was excellent but it is cheaper to hire a car and travel yourself rather than going with the rep. The car hire was 22 euro's a day which we thought was very reasonable and we had a brand new corsa. For restaurants i recommend the slow boat if you like chinese food and Poco Loco on the main strip for a mixed grill as the food was fantasic. Flicks was a good bar for drinks aswell as the underground bar but Waikik was very expensive. Overall we had a fantastic time and are gutted to be back at work! We would definately go back to the same hotel.
