“Good Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

Just back from 2 weeks here. We've visited Corralejo many times but this is the 1st time we've stayed here. Reading reviews on this site before and after booking we were unsure of what to expect - some were good and some others not so good.
We had a great time!!
OK not a 5* but that's not what we paid for or expected. The location is excellent right on the front next to the harbour round the corner fron Impescasa supermarket and 5 mins walk fron the Old Town with its bars and restaurants (this walk is easy and on the flat).
The rooms were fine, quite well equipped and of a good size - we were lucky, I emailed them 2 days before we went asking for a room with a sunny balcony, and although they said they could not guarantee it - we got one and it was sunny ALL day!!. The maid service was fine 5 days out of 7 depending on when you arrive and the reception were polite and helpful. I believe you get back what you give so when you approach with a smile you get a smile back and more!!
The 3rd bed was a pull out - probably not suitable for an adult but for a teenage girl it was good enough.
The swimming pool is heated but not very much so you have to get in quick and then it's ok and there is a life guard on duty.
La Luna restaurant is fantastic (seperate review) and a pool bar is open during the day it serves good food and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Next time we go to Corralejo the teenager is not coming but we'll be staying in this hotel again.
Ask for rooms 212 -225 for all day sun.

Room Tip: 2nd floor above reception pool view

My family and I have stayed at this hotel before we will prob stay here again the hotel is lucky to be so near the harbour which is one of the reasons we stay here, there are v nice bars and restaurants nearby.
I was v surprised to discover that they were unable to make our 2 single beds into one( basically by using a double sheet as done in the past) this is not an unusual request as most hotels and apts dont provide double beds but provide sheets to make beds as one the bizarre thing is it was done on our past visits to this complex ,I was actually called into the office the evening of check in that if I didnt like it I could get my money back and go elsewhere, was this really how a guest should be treated we checked in on monday and out on thurs, in these days we were never offered a double sheet ,is this request not normal, I think the girls that clean the rooms are v friendly, helpful, always smiling and should be the girls on the front desk . I think the girls on reception need a crash course in customer care and dealing with problems they should be in background where they dont have to deal with people. From when you leave your house and go on holidays it should be stress free from start to finish , when you check in it should be stress free, the girls on reception should make you feel welcome, not that they are doing you a favour by staying at their hotel.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 7 nights in early May.
The location of the hotel we found to be really good. Although it wasn't in walking distance to the main beach, it was right next to the bus stop, which cost no more then 2euros for a ticket and took about 10 minutes.
It was a nice 15 minute walk to the main high street which had lots of little shops and many amazing restaurants and bars! we recommend 'Flicks' bar, it is a cocktail bar with movie themed cocktails, it also has 2 sections, one side for clubbing and dancing, the other if you just want to sit and relax.
The hotel was also next to the harbor which meant we could easily access the ships which took you over to lanzarote for the day for 10/15euros.

Its a great place to stay if you want to relax and be out of the way of the busy night life, but be close enough to go out for some drinks if you want :)

I wouldnt say Fuerteventura is the best place to stay if you have young children, apart from the beaches, i didnt really notice many attractions for children.

Me and my fiancé stayed here for a week from 2nd - 9th feb.. The room was basic but clean. The maids came more or less every day to clean and change the beds do no problems there!!
We didn't have any problems while there do cant comment on the helpfulness of the staff! The location was brilliant, right by the harbour :-)

Overall, for the price we paid, was very happy :-)

We stayed at this place from the 2nd of Feb 2013 until today 9th of feb

The place is very very basic, around the pool area it is clean enough, however the rooms are very basic, beds are really uncomfertable, they dont get cleaned properly, the bins get emptied and the floor gets a quick mop. The hot water in the shower lasts 3 minutes before going cold, this is due to a very small boiler or something i assume.

Staff were ok, but failed to give us a fax from the transfer company until 20 minutes before we were due to be picked up, after we called the transfer company.

It is ok if you want somewhere to sleep, it has 2 english tv chanels one movie and sky news, there is no entertainment within the place and the restaraunt attached is not ideal at all, rude staff and the food isnt up to much.

This is by far the worst bed i have ever slept on ( and ive slept in some rough places ) couples with no real TV, or a proper shower this is not anywhere near a 3 star place to stay.

I know people say you get what you pay for, but this really is not an ideal place to be staying. Its like an old MOTEL, old furniture and just very plain. WONT be back

just came back from a week here.
the apartment .we had room 251 ,was facing the local supermarket.
the road was busy and noisy.
the apartment was very basic.but cleanish ,we saw 2 cockroaches in our room, thankfully only smallish 1s,
the lady at the cafe /shop was lovely ,and made up for the rude woman who was mainly on reception.
our beds were never made while we were there.. but the bins were cleaned out daily.

Room Tip: there is no aircon. these rooms are ok if u just want a base. we would not go there again.

Stayed here a number of times before and found it to be still consistently good. It is a good 3/4 star standard and well kept. The staff are always very helpful and pleasant. The apartments are a good size and well kitted out and the cleaning service is very efficient. As others point out the best apartments to go for are around 212/220 (I think) - pool side with afternoon sun.
They maintain good order around the place and noisy behaviour that would impact on other users is well controlled. From talking to people there seems to be a very large repeat business which must be a good sign.
I found it to be an excellent location. It is located virtually on the edge of the sea with a nice promenade although the nearest swimming point is a bit away and not great. Super location for surfers as the surf school is next door and there is surfing just across the road.
Walk into the centre is about 10 mins and supermarket about 2 mins. The restaurant/bar facilities in and around the hotel are good.
All in all - will very happily return on next visit to Fuerteventura
