I can only say that our stay at the Hotel was excellent and we enjoyed it thoroughly . The location was excellent for the girls right opposite to shops. The staff were brilliant and Gary the entertainment put on a free Volcano walk and many games and quizes. The breakfasts were the best but there was always something to eat, snacks could be ordered all day. The only negative point was that the rooms were a little tired and ready for a facelift. But I would definitely rebook

Room Tip: I would choose a room attached to the main hotel, as you can sun bath from your patio

Stayed here for the second year running for my birthday. Was given room C06 which was at the back of the complex.Room was clean and spacious and had all the items you would need in the kitchen if staying self catering but we were all inclusive.Staff were always happy to help and the bar service was very quick.Food in the hotel restaurant was good and a good selection of drinks from the bar.Didn't spend much time in hotel on this stay as out visiting friends during the day and evening so cannot comment on the day or evening entertainment. This hotel is great value for money and I would definetly stay here again in the future.

Room Tip: Email hotel before travelling and ask for room that suits your needs and they will do their best to...

We have just returned from our second visit to the Dunas Caleta and fail to understand how anyone can be so rude about the place and its staff.
The majority of reasonable reviews are favourable, and for good reason. We have stayed at a good number of places and this is, as people have said previously, not the Ritz, but neither does it try to be! It is incredible value for money, in a fantastic position for everything, and if the food is not what you want on the day, at the prices they charge you can eat out every night. The staff, bar none, work incredibly hard to make your holiday special. You get out of this holiday what you want !! Some people have described it as a Working Men's Club, well what springs to mind is that if you say that, you must have been to one, so how many of them have swimming pools, bar service that includes all drinks, food, snacks, rooms with maid service??, and I could go on, but those who haven't been, look at what you get for you money and try it. Our daughter and boyfriend visited the Dunas on our recommendation in October and loved it, so much so that they want to go back next year, so something for all ages and, I hope that whoever is going to try here, keep an open mind, look at what you do get for your money, not what you don't !!! ....and enjoy. We would love to return again if we can,

Room Tip: D block is quiet and lovely at all times

My wife and I booked a last minute All inclusive to stay here we were not disapointed the Hotel as a little dated but kept very clean Rooms need updating especially the beds very lumpy .The food was good >choice of full fry up or alternative at breakfast and plenty of choice for both lunch and evening dinner with snacks provided in between. The drinks were of a good quality and went down well. The pool was cold but the weather made up for it. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The entertainment was not bad but Gary takes a bit of getting used too but he is a great bloke with a big heart . We would definitely go again

As a group of six we returned here on the 15th November for two weeks . The rooms are still in need of a lick of paint and a general update but are kept clean by the maids. The pool as usual was very cold and that also needs an update as it's missing a few tiles. The weather was particularly bad which nobody can control and we ended up having nine days of rain . Gary and Nicky did their upmost to keep people entertained and their enthusiasm is second to none . Gary never ceases to amaze me with his energy . The food is good and has a choice for everyone . Drinks are a pleanty and the bar staff are very friendly . All the reception staff are brilliant especially Debbie and Jane . At the end of the day this is a budget hotel but in a prime location with excellent staff . We will return next year as so many do and for the price we paid we have no real reason to complain except that the televisions in the rooms could have at least one English Channel albeit the news .
My

Room Tip: All rooms have a view of the pool but the rooms on the ground floor tend to be better .

Just got back from here, Great place to stay nice apartments, I don't understand any one giving bad reviews you get what you pay for, the food is good and the drinks are great,Staff are very friendly, Great atmosphere and good location for all the bars and shops. Gary is great and gets everybody involved. All the staff work very hard. Cant fault this place and I will go back any time The market is about a 5 minute walk away and loads of good shops

Room Tip: next time we go going to ask for ground floor apartment because the stairs can put you out
