“Beautiful hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

Me and my partner stayed for one week in block I. We both loved the room and thought the hotel grounds were beautiful. Staff are all very welcoming and friendly! Also, we found that the WiFi had great connection considering we were at the back of the hotel. Lastly, we also thought that the hotel was in the perfect place, 5-10 min walk to the beach and just around the corner from the main road; where you can find almost anything. Highly recommend!

Top Notch. The photos are all a true reflection. The rooms are so spacious. As too is the shower - never had a double one before. We had 2 maintenance issues that were sorted straight away - that's the sort of thing that impresses me. I think we won't take much tempting back.

We stayed here the 2nd week of Easter. The hotel is very clean and as mentioned in other reviews recently refurbished. The staff are very friendly (except one at the pool bar). The maids work tirelessly to keep everywhere spotless. Unfortunately the only negative points would be the food (not the standard just the choice). It was the poorest food I have known in a 4 star hotel. The drinks are of a good standard the only downside being no bottled water. The pools were lovely, the cleanest I've been in. It is in an excellent location and a short bus ride to the sand dunes which is the best beach I have ever seen. There are some lovely shops and bars along the walk to the old town and harbour. We had a great time here and travelled as a family of 4 adults and 2 children. Would I return to this hotel? Yes if the food improved and there were more serving areas available.

Room Tip: We stayed in 1065 very quiet but no view.

I stayed in this hotel for a week in April. The hotel itself is immaculate. From the communal areas, poolside and bedrooms you cannot fault the cleanliness.
The efficiency of the staff is something to be admired. At breakfast, lunch & dinner, the staff worked extremely hard! The plates were cleared as quick as you'd finished your meal and they all maintained a professional attitude and looked immaculate as waiters and waitresses.
Plenty of food to choose from. Always a variety of salad on offer and a protein option. Felt like I could always have a healthy option rather than pigging out on chips all week. (Although, if you want to do that - chips are always available)
The HIGHLIGHT of my holiday but also the downfall of it was the entertainment. Ana-Maria the entertainer there worked morning, day and night to encourage both kids and adults in her activities. The varied schedule proved to be a huge hit with the kids who could participate in darts, kids mini disco and much much more. The adults could get off their sun loungers for half an hour and do aqua fit, abdominals, Pilates etc. And that was just in the day! The entertainment and music she provided in the evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all but such a shame somebody else took over half way through our holiday. Just when everyone (including the kids) had gotten used to seeing her around.
Overall a clean, slick, modern hotel and one I would certainly recommend.

we arrived on 2nd april for a week. we were upgraded to this hotel as ours was full and wow! what an upgrade!. the rooms were very spacious with nice comfy beds, the pools were fab. one a bit more lively with pool entertainment and zumba, water aerobics etc and the other for a relax. the beach was awesome and the water nice and warm. we found a nice pub called the 7 pints down a little alley off the main strip which we liked and had a nice meal in a mexican on the main strip. cant fault this place in any way other than trying to get bottled water on site was a bit of a nightmare! .

How anyone can have a bad word to say about this place is beyond me, the hotel is truly fantastic and especially for the price we paid we were seriously impressed!

The room was the nicest hotel room we've had before, and the food was plentiful, excellent quality and varied sufficiently. The hotel is located in the perfect place, near to shops and bars and the beach, and a short bus ride from the beautiful dunes and National park (worth a visit!)

We never struggled to get sun beds, and the weather and pool were fantastic.

All the staff were really helpful and happy to help, I'd like to say a massive thank you for everyone who made our trip so great.

A few tiny pointers: regular drinking water seemed a little difficult to get hold of, some bottled water in the rooms each night would've been appreciated. And perhaps slightly more seating available at night by the bar.

All in all we had an incredible stay and would recommend this to anyone visiting fuerteventura!

Stayed at the Hotel for one week in April 2015. Great place for a relaxed break.
The rooms were very nice, comfy pillows and beds, unusual on holiday! Plenty of wardrobe space, nice and clean, with a large balcony. Flat screen TV, but as others have commented, Sky News is the only English channel. Whilst I appreciate you don’t go on holiday to stay in the room and watch TV, it's nice to have it on sometimes. I have visited the other Canary Islands and they always have a variety of English channels. We took a travel kettle as there are no kettles in the room. Sometimes it's nice to get up in the morning and have a hot drink before getting ready, rather than get dressed and go to the restaurant. There is no fridge to keep the milk in, but you can hire one. We just bought a carton of UHT, which lasted for a good few days in the room at this time of the year.
We had the odd little bug in the room, which did not bother me. However, on the last night, two baby cockroaches were wandering around the room and they were swifly evicted!! Did not see any adult ones. The hotel needs to design signs for the doors asking for no disturbing/please clean the room that actually stay on the door as they kept blowing off and the maid ended up knocking the door a couple of times whilst we were in bed.

There are two pools at the hotel, the main one, where the fun and games are (and the heated pool, which I did not know until after we left). No wonder there were so many people in it! We tended to opt for the quiet pool at the back of the hotel, where the pool was absolutely freezing! If you have heart problems, don’t attempt to go in! Whilst the actual pool itself is cleaned every day, I never saw the poolside being cleaned and my feet ended up being dirty whilst walking to and around the pool. I rescued two ladybirds from the pool and left them on the side of the pool and they were still there (dead) in the same spot 3 days later. Always a spare sunbed. The only pool bar is by the main pool so if you want a drink you have to walk down to the main pool.
Pool towels can be hired each day from reception, for 10 euros pp, which you get back on returning the towel. I wish we had known this before we went, would have saved us taking our own towels.

The gardens are very well maintained with pretty flowers and plants. There always seemed to be a gardener doing something.
We don’t tend to have all inclusive very often, but the drinks were very good and I completely disagree with others giving a negative view on the drinks. I have tried many different alcohols, in different countries and believe me, these were good. Whilst they were only local drinks, they had a large variety, including, white rum, vodka, whisky, schnapps, coconut rum, tequila, honey rum, even a baileys type drink. The wine (rose/white/red) was decent, although my partner said the lager was a bit flat. The prosecco was also nice. Did not try the cocktails, but for the people moaning, upgrade to the premium and you will get the branded drinks! The majority of all inclusives in Europe tend to serve local spirits and this is one of the best selections I have ever seen at an all inclusive.
The enterainment at night was the best. On the one night we stayed in, they did a bingo session, finally stopping it at 9.30 because the singer was starting. That was so annoying, to sit there for half an hour playing and then for it to be stopped before the end! The entertainment would be better suited to families, although the staff do seem to work hard.

The food was decent and we have had better, however, it was decent and we always found a good variety. My only issue was the sausages at breakfast time. Horrible little grey mini cocktail sausages, that did not taste like sausage. God knows what they were made of, but they generally seemed to remain untouched. There was an omelette station where you could have a freshly cooked omelette, fried eggs were available, boiled and scrambled, nice crispy, smokey bacon, baked beans and carrots! most mornings. There was also a variety of rolls, bread to toast, cold meats, cheeses, mini muffins, doughnuts, croissants, yoghurts and cereals. Plenty to choose from.
The lunch also had a good variety, with plenty of cold, salad type dishes, always a grilled meat or fish and then around 6 dishes of food under the hot lamps, meats, vegetables and potatoes. Also a variety of desserts and as one person mentioned, a lot of mousse type desserts. Although there is ice cream, fruit and some small cake desserts. These were pretty much the same every day at dinner and lunch, sometimes the flavours changed but that was about it.
Evening meal was similar to lunch with a variety of meats, potatoes and vegetables. One day was Sunday lunch, there was an oriental themed evening where you could have sushi, spring rolls and a stir fry. Wine and lager were self service at lunch and dinner.
There were cakes and afternoon tea, again a decent variety, but they didn’t last long.
Snacks consisted of sandwiches, salad, meats and cheeses, with sometimes a cold rice type dish thrown in and were pretty much the same every day.
I am aware that you can have an a la carte meal during your stay, which you have to book, but we never did.
Reception staff were very helpful and there is a luggage room where you can leave your luggage if you are flying later after leaving your room. I found the pricing of being able to keep the room on a bit bizarre. We enquired as check out was at 12. We wanted to keep the room until 4pm. To keep it until 2pm was 15 euros, 3pm was 17 euros and then 4pm it jumped up to 30 euros!
Overall the hotel was nice and was what we expected. Would we return? Probably not until we are in our 50’s or are taking children. Corralejo was nice, but very quiet, so did not suit us so much. A lot of people have commented that the hotel is right on the ‘strip’. It is, but most of the stuff on the strip is down the other end, a good 15-20 minute walk away, which brings you into the old town area with a lot of restaurants. There are not a lot of bars here, but a lot of closed bars/restaurants/shops.
If you smoke, you can take 400 cigarettes with you from your UK airport as the Canaries are classed as outside the EU. I did not bother buying any in resort as from previous experience, there are a lot of fake ones in the Canary Islands. Instead, I waited until the airport. Compared to other Canary Islands, the airport was quite expensive for duty free and only a limited choice on cigarettes, especially menthol ones.
We ate a few nights, at La Cantina (Mexican), La Olivia (Spanish/mediterranean - amazing!) and Namaste (Indian). I have posted separate reviews for these.
It is quite windy here, which in the heat of summer would be a lovely cool down. The beach is really nice too and you can walk around the coast where there are some bars and restaurants and the sea is a lovely colour.

Room Tip: Wifi seems to work on and off, especially if you are aware from the bar and reception area. Try and...
