“An assuming gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

We stumbled across this Tapas bar by accident due to its proximity to our walking path to the more prominent parts of the town. We had seen a previous night where they had had a guitarist who had the whole bar singing. However on this particular night when we walked in, it was empty - never a good sign. But we persevered.

We sat down and received a good explanation in english of the extensive Tapas menu, and selected a round of cocktails and tapas. What was meant to be a quick bite to eat ended in a rolling fun night. The tapas dishes were diverse, fresh and tasty. And I can safely say that they serve the best calamari I have experienced in years. The cocktails were tasty (mojitos and caprinhas), and stronger than jet fuel.

We had a fantastic night, so much so we returned again during our 1 week stay (repeats are rare during our holidays which speaks for itself).

For a great unassuming experience when in Corralejo, you must visit Pincha Cabra.

“Excellent local food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

We discovered Pincha Cabra by accident walking past one evening. It looked inviting so we went in with our two children aged 3 and 5. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We loved it so much that we ended up returning many times within our 2 week holiday. We would recommend it to everyone. Estamos muy contentos de haber encontrado su restaurante, la comida es excelente, muchas gracias!

“Proper tapas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013

Went to Pincha Cabra after reading so many good reviews and wasn't disappointed. We had the '8 tapas and a drink' deal, and didn't know what to order so let the waitress decide. We ended up with a marinated raw tuna tapas, garlic chicken, garlic mushrooms, octopus, chickpeas and pork, mussels in spicy sauce, chorizo in red wine and tortilla. Lovely selection and all for 24 euros (with 2 beers). Bargain.

“Excellent - go!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013 via mobile

Excellent tapas, great food, friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. Great value for money and central location (just off square and near garage). We choose this restaurant after reading the great reviews. We ate off both menus and favourites were stuffed peppers with mackerel and garlic prawns. A must visit!

“Quaint little Tapas Bar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

Very old traditional building with a number of rooms in it. Decor very quaint and rustic. We sat in the lovely, tiny, courtyard and had a selection of tapas chosen from a menu and a board. Some are prepared earlier in the day and some are prepared for you at the time. The waitress was very nice and friendly and explained what each dish comprised of. Service was good, food very tasty, presented nicely and more than enough. We left feeling very satisfied. We chose a bottle of the house white wine - it was absolutely gorgeous. I could have drank the whole bottle myself. Cannot say where it came from, as it appeared on the table in a bottle with no label. Though we enjoyed our tapas night in a lovely setting, it was a little bit pricey. On our next visit we shall sit in the main bar area and choose from the wide range of tapas in the chiller display. We will be back.
